   "Humansweatproducedwhenapersonishappybringsaboutastatesimilartohappinessinsomebodywhobreathesthissmell/saidstudyco-authorGunSemin,aprofessoratKocUniversityinTurkey.Thisisafascinatingfindingbecauseitnotonlymeansthathappinessdoeshaveascent,hutthatthescentiscapableoftransmittingtheemotiontoothers.Thestudyalsofoundthatotheremotions,suchasfear,seemtocamascenttoo.Thismatchespreviousresearchsuggestingthatsomenegativeemotionshaveasmell,hutitisthefirsttimethishasprovedtobetrueofpositivefeelings.

   Researchershaveyettoisolate(分离)exactlywhatthechemicalcompoundforthehappinesssmellis,butyoumightimaginewhatthepotentialapplicationsforsuchafindingcouldbe.Happinessperfumes,forinstance,couldbeinvented.Scenttherapies(香味疗法)couldalsobedevelopedtohelppeoplethroughdepressionoranxiety.

   "Wealwaysmakeitcleartoparentsthatwewillonlyofferfull-timehomeschoolingforayearthough,”Spriggsexplained."Anymorethanayearandchildrenstarttoloseoutonwhataschoolenvironmentcangivethem,suchassocialskillsandthevitalinteractiontheyneed-althoughwetrytoavoidthatanywayinourhometutoringwithsportsclubsormuseumtripsaspartoftheteachingprogram."

   Spriggswouldnottellthesalaryregionoftutors,butsaidthatthecostsofhiringafulltimetutorwouldbemorethanthefeesofatopboardingschool,whichusuallychargesaroundS54,400ayear.Somefamiliesemploytwofull-timetutors,onetocoverhumanities(人文学科)andtheothertocoverscienceandmaths.Devisinganeducationalplanforyoungstersinthesesituationsisnotaquickprocess,however,Spriggssaid,withatutorbeingmatchedtothechildtoensuretheyarecompatible(能共处的).
