TheintentionofthisdocumentistogiveanoverviewofsomehelpfulcommandsusedfortheconfigurationanddebuggingoftheBSS.

WecanconnecttoaNE（BSC,BTS,RXDR）intwodifferentways.
UsingthedirectconnectiontoaNEprocessororthrougharemotelogin.
AfterloginwewillbeintheMMImode,whichisthegeneraluser-interface.ToswitchtotheGPROC-emonmode,whichcanbeseenasadebug-mode,achangetoahighersecuritylevelisnecessary（chg_l）.

TheBSSsystemiscomposedofseveralprocesses.Thesesprocessescommunicatethroughdefinedmessages.Ashardwareconfigurationchanges,moreprocessorsboardsmaybeaddedandfunctionsdistributedacrosstheboards.Inthischapterwewilldescribesomespecialcommandsusedtogetinformationbetweenintercommunicationprocesses.
Interprocesscommunicationisaccomplishedbytheuseofmessages,whicharepacketsofdatasentfromoneprocesstoanother.Withthecommandmessagesend,theusercantriggersomeevents,sendingspecificmessagestoaprocess.
Afilterisacommandwhichuserscanusetoselectivelydisplayusefulinformationonaterminal.Theformatandcontentofafilteroutputiscompletelyuptotheuser.
