2、he intention of this document is to give an overview of some helpful commands used for the configuration and debugging of the BSS.2 GETTING CONNECTIONWe can connect to a NE (BSC, BTS, RXDR) in two different ways.Using the direct connection to a NE processor or through a remote login.After login we w

3、ill be in the MMI mode, which is the general user-interface. To switch to the GPROC-emon mode, which can be seen as a debug-mode, a change to a higher security level is necessary (chg_l). If we are connected to GUI OMC-R: MMI-RAM 0015 - set_mmi exec_monTo go from MMI to GPROC-emon GPROC:emon - set_m

Theses processes communicate through

5、 defined messages. As hardware configuration changes, more processors boards may be added and functions distributed across the boards. In this chapter we will describe some special commands used to get information between intercommunication processes. Interprocess communication is accomplished by th

6、e use of messages, which are packets of data sent from one process to another. With the command message send, the user can trigger some events, sending specific messages to a process.A filter is a command which users can use to selectively display useful information on a terminal. The format and con

7、tent of a filter output is completely up to the user.The internal information report is a tool which users can use to selectively display useful information on a terminal. The format and content of the IIR output is completely up to the user. For each report we need to set up an IIR_mask, to display
