注解：

用现在进行时，强调主语we正在面对的事

有些人滞留异乡

 注解：

上面两个stuck都是stick的过去分词,

 注意区分stick和strike的不规则变化，

  stick-stuck-stuck

注解：

1.注意isolate与quarantine

Isolation:

 separatessickpeoplewithacontagiousdiseasefrompeoplewhoarenotsick.

Quarantine:

 separatesandrestrictsthemovementofpeoplewhowereexposedtoacontagiousdiseasetoseeiftheybecomesick.

isolation是隔离已经感染的病人，quarantine是隔离可能感染者（去过疫区或者接触过病人），以观察是否感染。

2.itis...that为强调句型

Thevirusisrampaging（横冲直撞），

病毒在肆虐

Thenumbersareincreasing，

感染的人在不断增加

Therumorsarespreading，

谣言横行

Thefearisgrowing，

恐惧增加

It seems that allofasudden

似乎在一瞬间

it作形式主语代替后面that引导的主语主句

虽然这将是一场激烈的严酷的战争

1.howlong和what引导的从句作know的宾语，即，它们是宾语从句

2.aresure后省略that后接宾语从句，这里用了，插入语，thatis。

因为在我们过去5000年的历史中，我们就是这样做的

Andthat’s what makesusthegreatest nationever.

而正因如此成就了我们这个世上最伟大的民族

how引导的表语从句

我们会将传递这份伟大的精神代代相传

反思：

词汇和语法的学习需要结合语境，通过语境理解语法的死结构和语境的活应用，做到牢记死结构，语境活应用。

尤其像本演讲中：

1.连用在三个并列定语从句，用who引导，但是先行词one前面与theonly修饰，因此在书面语中改用that最佳。

由于这里强调的人，所以演讲中都用who。

2.Nomatter后省略whether,实际上是nomatterwhether...or结构，引导的是让步状语从句

例句：

（1）It'simportanttodosoinproperway, nomatterwhether youareintroducingyourselftosomeone, or introducingtwopeopletoeachother.（2010上海卢湾高三英语一模问答阅读）

无论你是向某人介绍自己，还是向两个人介绍彼此，以适当的方式去做都很重要。

事实上，不管你成功与否，妈妈总是站在你身后支持你。
