1.usually通常，常常

usually是频度副词,意思是“常常”“习惯于”,有遵循常规的意思,其经常性约为90％。

usually只能用作状语,位于实义动词之前,系动词、助动词或情态动词之后,也可放在句首或句末表示强调。

用于否定句时,多位于实义动词与系动词、助动词或情态动词的中间

I usually wakeupearly.

我通常醒得很早。

Usually,thestreetisquiet.

通常这条街很安静。

IusuallygetpaidonFridays.

我通常是在星期五领工资。

Wedon't usually getupbeforenineonSunday.

星期天我们一般不在9点以前起床。

辨析：

usually,always,often,sometimes

这四个词意思相近。

其区别是：

表示的频率不同。

例如：

HecomestoschoolonMonday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,SaturdayandevenonSunday.我们可说：

Healwaysgoestoschool.

always表示的频率是100%。

HecomestoschoolonMonday,Tuesday,Wednesday,ThursdayandFriday.我们可说：

Heusuallygoestoschool.

usually表示的频率是90%。

HecomestoschoolonMonday,Tuesday,WednesdayandThursday.我们可说：

Heoftengoestoschool.

often表示的频率是60%。

HecomestoschoolonMondayandThursday.我们可以说Hesometimesgoestoschool.sometimes表示的频率是20%。

2.gotoschool上学

gotoschool表示的是去学校上课。

to是介词，表示“向，到”。

school是名词。

toschool作状语。

gohome中home是副词，不要错误理解为名词。

home做状语。

3.inthemorning在上午

Ihopetogetawayearly inthemorning.

我希望一早就动身离开。

Igetupearly inthemorning.

早晨我起床很早。

I'llringherup inthemorning.

我明天上午给她打电话。

Heputonathicksweatersinceitwascold inthemorning.

早晨很冷，他穿上了一件厚毛衣。

4.havelunch吃午饭

（1）have+表示一日三餐的名词，意为“用餐”。

havebreakfast/lunch/supper吃早饭/午饭/晚饭。

havedinner吃饭，吃晚饭。

（2）have+表示食品、饮料等的名词，意为“吃；喝”（=eat,drink）。

如：

have（some）bread　吃面包

haveeggs（forbreakfast）　（早餐）吃鸡蛋

have（acupof）tea喝（一杯）茶

这里的have也可以用take替换。

5.playfootball踢足球

play的基本意思是指为了消遣和娱乐而进行身体的或精神的活动,即“玩,玩耍”,也可指与某人进行一场比赛,即“参加比赛”。

Don't playfootball intheclassroom.

不要在教室里踢足球。

Weoften playfootball inPEclass.

我常常在体育课上踢足球。

Agroupofboyis playfootball inthestreet.

一帮小伙子当时正在街上踢足球。

6.gohome回家

Let'sgohome.

我们回家吧。

Ihaveto gohome andgetsupperforthechildren.

我得回去给孩子做晚饭。

7.homework家庭作业

homework的基本意思是“家庭作业”,指课外应预习或复习的功课,是不可数名词。

Imustfinishmy homework first.

我必须首先做完家庭作业。

8.watchTV看电视

Youcanstayathomeand watchTV.

你可以待在家里并且看电视。

Iliketo watchTV programswhichareaboutsports.

我喜欢观赏有关运动的电视节目。

I'll watchTV afterIfinishmyhomework.

我做完家庭作业去看电视。

You'retodoyourhomeworkbeforeyou watchTV.

你应该做了功课再看电视。

比较：

seeafilm看电影

Intheeveningwewentto seeafilm.

晚上我们去看了一场电影。

他们排队等候看电影。

9.gotobed睡觉

10.intheafternoon在下午

12.atnight在夜里

他害怕夜晚独自出去。

辨析：

atnight与intheevening

辨析这两个短语主要是区分night和evening的用法。

evening和night都是指晚上，但两者并不完全相同。

他们的区别是：

evening是“傍晚、晚上”，尤其是指下午6点到晚上10点前，一般指晚上就寝之前这段时间，它的反义词是morning。

night是指“夜晚、黑夜”，是指晚上10点后至午夜这段时间。

它的反义词是day.

下午下了班或过了正常工作时间是evening；到了睡觉的时候便从evening转为night。
