Abstract

Bronte'smasterpiece;itisgenerallybelievedthat"JaneEyre"Charlottebearthebruntofthework,thenovelis"poeticlifeportrayal"autobiography.Inthepursuitoflife,libertyanddignity,inthepathofgrowthalittleorphan,adheretotheself,theultimatehappinessstory.Meanderingnovelshowstheheroandheroineloveexperiencedupsandupsanddowns,getridofalltheoldcustomsandprejudices,successfullycreatedadaretoresist,andthecouragetofightforfreedomfemaleimage.Thenovelasamodernwomanspiritualleader,describedBronte'sJaneEyre'scharacterthatwomenhaveanindependentpursuitoflove,freedom,socialequalitypower,whichistosocietyingeneral,onceconsideredforWomenindependentpioneer,withthetraditionalstruggle.Inthelyricdialoguenovelsproduceacertaininfluenceonlaterliterature,"JaneEyre"isonehavingacertaininfluence,forcenturies,theimageofJaneEyreisimmortal,andnovelswelcomepeopleallovertheworld,expertsgivenmorepraise.Itslanguagefeaturesisoneoftheimportantreasons,verypopularwithreaderslike,especiallyyoungreaders,especiallytheemancipationofwomenandthesocialrelevanceofmoreworthpondering.ButnowwerevisitthisworkifwecanfindJane'scharacteristwo-sidednature,whenshehadastrongandunyielding,kind,freedomtopursueequalityofperfectqualityatthesametime,nomatterhowopen-mindedshewas,heartthereisalwaysafeelingofinferiority,self-mockeryandcruelrealityofthehelpless

“简爱”(简爱)是19世纪英国著名的女作家夏洛蒂·勃朗特的代表作;人们普遍认为,“简爱”是夏洛特首当其冲的作品,这部小说是“诗意的生活写照”的自传。

在生活中追求自由和尊严,在成长的道路上一个小孤儿,坚持自我,最终得到幸福的故事。

小说展示了男女主人公蜿蜒跌宕的爱情经历起​​伏,摆脱所有的旧习俗和偏见,成功创建了一个敢于反抗,敢于争取自由和女性形象。

Introduction

ThroughthenovelJaneEyre,CharlotteBrontecreatedJanethissmall,inferiorityandunspectacularimagesofwomen.Shehasastrongfemaleconsciousness,braveandunremittingpursuitofholylove;herstrong,facingthepoorandunfortunateperseverance;herpursuitoffreedom,sticktothetruth.ThesefeaturesmakeJaneEyrewasadvancedinthehistoryofwesternliteratureistherepresentativefigureofwomenandenduringappeal.TraditionalfemalerebelsinJaneEyreisacoverovertheheadsoftheglitteringhalo,indeed,JaneEyre’soutstandingpersonalityexcitingreadersofdifferenttimes,butifwetakethecalmandobjectiveattitudetolookatheragain,wewillfindinthisglitteringhaloshadowbehindhasnotdisappeared.Janesometimessadlyintoacircle,thatshehatedbuthecouldn'tescape.Undertheappearanceofseeminglybrave,alwayslurkedaninferiorityandfragilesoul.SotheanalysisofJaneEyre’spositiveandnegativedualpersonalityisveryimportantforustobetterunderstandherjourney.

JaneEyre’slifeisveryunfortunate,herlifeismiserable;sheisafosterMrs.Reed,hercruel,wealthyaunthomeorphans.Fromchildhood'sJaneEyrehasrealizedtheworldhumansentimentchangesintemperature.Herauntishardonher,hercousinJohnreed,oftenfornoapparentreasonofbeatenher,noneofthismakesJaneEyrestoneorsophisticated,herheartisstillfilledwithlove.IntheJohn'sopinionofJaneis"docile,diligentandfaithful,resolute,courageous,selfless,veryelegant,verybrave"(Charlotte,2001).

JaneEyreisdocilebutdon'tdependonanyone,sheneverdriftwiththecurrent,shehasherownuniqueviewforeverything,andhavethecouragetogiveexpressiontohisownviews.WhenshefirstsawMr.Rochester,eventhoughheisthemasterofher,shealsodidnotshowtheflattery,buttherealanswerhisquestion.WhenRochesteraskedher,"doyouthinkIambeautiful"?
