本试卷分第I卷(选择题)和第II卷(非选择题)两部分,满分150分,测试时间120分钟。

Researchershavefoundit’salldowntothehormoneoxytocin(荷尔蒙催生素).Althoughknownasthelovehormone,itaffectsthesexesdifferently.

Generally,peoplebelievethatthehormoneoxytocinisletoutinourbodyinvarioussocialsituationsandourbodycreatesalargeamountofitduringpositivesocialinteractions(互动)suchasfallinginloveorgivingbirth.

ButinapreviousexperimentProfessorRyanfoundthatthehormoneisalsoletoutinourbodyduringnegativesocialinteractionssuchasenvy.

Furtherresearchesshowedthatinmenthehormoneoxytocinimprovestheabilitytorecognizecompetitiverelationships,butinwomenitraisestheabilitytorecognizefriendship.

ProfessorRyan’srecentexperimentused62menandwomenaged20to37.Halfoftheparticipantsreceivedoxytocin.Theotherhalfreceivedplacebo(安慰剂).

Afteraweek,thetwogroupsswitchedwithparticipants.Theywentthroughthesameprocedurewiththeothermaterial.

Followingeachtreatment,theywereshownsomevideopictureswithdifferentsocialinteractions.Thentheywereaskedtoanalyzetherelationshipsbyansweringsomequestions.Thequestionswereabouttellingfriendshipfromcompetition.Andtheiranswersshouldbebasedongestures,bodylanguageandfacialexpressions.

Theresultsindicatedthat,aftertreatmentwithoxytocin,men’sabilitytocorrectlyrecognizecompetitiverelationshipsimproved,butinwomenitwastheabilitytocorrectlyrecognizefriendshipthatgotbetter.

ProfessorRyanthusconcluded:

“Ourexperimentprovesthatthehormoneoxytocincanraisepeople’sabilitiestobetterdistinguishdifferentsocialinteractions.Andthebehaviordifferencesbetweenmenandwomenarecausedbybiologicalfactorsthataremainlyhormonal.”
