词语用法搭配

【词语用法】

Accredit

Attribute.~sthtosb/~sbwithsth归因于

Heisaccreditedwithhavingfirstintroducedthiswordintothelanguage.常用于被动

另：

accredited官方认可的;普遍接受的;质量鉴定合格的.

Must

Must除了像下面这种表示判断推测的句子的时候，must作必须的意思时没有过去式。

一般用hadto代替

Hemusthaveknownwhatshewanted.

Wemusthavereadthesamereport.

Whereas

在语法题中出现时，whereas后面一般紧跟着的是一个句子而不是省略结构。

下面三组都选择B项。

A.Sometimesitsnowsheavilyinmountainswhereasremainingsunnyontheplains.

B.Sometimesitsnowsheavilywhiletheplainsremainsunny.

A.Shelovestheclarityandorderthatscienceprovides,whereasdelightinginthecreativityandunpredictabilityshefindsinart.

Need

实意动词用结构Needtodo否定为don’tneedtodo

情态动词用结构Needdo否定为needn’tdo

Means

（1）表示做某事的方法，means后通常接ofdoing。

如：

Wehadnomeansofwarningthem.我们没有办法警告他们。

Thereisnomeansoffindingoutwhathappened.无法弄清发生了什么事情。

Canyoudeviseameansofovercomingtheproblem?

你能想出法子来解决这个难题吗?

（2）表示做某事的财力，其后通常接不定式，尤其见于havethemeanstodo这一结构。

如：

Hedoesn’thavethemeanstosupportawifeandchild.他没有钱养活妻子和孩子。

Smallbusinessesdon’thavethemeanstodevelopasophisticatedInternetpresence.小企业通常没有财力投资建设复杂的因特网平台。

Responsibility

（1）表示做某事的责任或负责做某事，其后通常接of[for]doing，如：

Mr.Smithwilltaketheresponsibilityof[for]doingtheexperiment.史密斯先生将负责做这个实验。

Sheischargedwiththeresponsibilityof[for]receivingcallersandansweringletters.她被安排负责接待来访者和回信。

（2）但是，在have[feel]aresponsibility结构后可以接不定式。

如：

Everycitizenhasaresponsibilitytovote

Todo/ofdoing区分

Todo表示目的，指未做而有目的地做这件事

后面跟todo的词语有：

Will,willingness,suggestion,conclusion,decision,intention,aim,effort,move,permission,agreement,refusal,determination,proposal,resolution

ofdoing是指这件事，纯粹指事件本身，后面跟ofdoing的词语有：

Hope,risk,possibility,impossibility,probability,prospect

而像way,chance,need,necessity,right,freedom,power,opportunity等词语，既可用不定式短语，又可用ofdoing短语作后置定语。

Transitive/intransitiveverb

vi.与vt.的区别在改错题中经常设下陷阱，笔者为大家总结了几组常见的易混组：

Seat/sit;set/sit;lay/lie;raise/rise;await/wait;raise/grow

例句：
