Apriceconsumptioncurveidentifiestheutilitymaximizingcombinationsoftwogoodsasthepriceofoneofthegoodschanges.Whenthepriceofoneofthegoodsdeclines,thebudgetlinewillpivotoutwards,andanewutilitymaximizingbundlewillbechosen.Thepriceconsumptioncurveconnectsallsuchbundles.Ademandcurveisagraphicalrelationshipbetweenthepriceofagoodandthe(utilitymaximizing)quantitydemandedofagood,allelsethesame.Priceisplottedontheverticalaxisandquantitydemandedonthehorizontalaxis.
