TheUnitedStatesispursuingafreetradestrategyforautomotiveproductsinavarietyoffora,includingglobaleffortsintheWorldTradeOrganization,andregionaleffortssuchastheNorthAmericanFreeTradeAgreementandtheAsiaPacificEconomicCooperation(APEC)forum.
