摘要:
中国是一个多民族多文化的国家,白族人民作为中华民族的的成员,有着悠久的历史和丰富多彩的文化。
先前的研究表明来自不同民族的语言学习者会有不同的学习策略。
本文旨在研究英语专业白族大学生英语学习策略的差异。
本研究可以帮助白族学者更好的了解语言学习。
且在当前的研究中,民族是一个相关的变量,因为白族属于中国56个民族之一。
本研究旨在探索白族英语学习者的学习策略特征和个人因素(如民族、成长环境和性别等)对英语学习有何影响。
通过调查问卷收集数据,并在SPSS17.0中分析结果.研究结果将给少数民族英语教学与学习带来很多启示。

1.Introduction
Toady,weallliveinaculturallydiverseworld.Itiscommonlyheldthatinthecourseofeconomicglobalizationandpluralisticculture,weshoulddevelopthedistinctnationalliteratureandmakeitwell-known.Chinaisamulti-ethniccountry,anditsBaipeoplehavealonghistoryandcolorfulculture.ThisessayaimstoidentifythedifferencesofEnglishlearningstrategiesheldbytheBaiEnglish-majorundergraduates.Thestudyofstrategyuseofitspeoplemayhelplearnersgetbetterunderstandingoflanguagelearning.ThedifferencesintheirstrategiesalsooffersomeinsightsintoEnglishlearning.EthnicityisarelevantvariabletobeexploredinthecurrentstudybecausetheBaipeoplebelongtooneof55ethnicminoritygroupsinChina.Previousstudiesindicatethatlearnersfromdifferentethnicbackgroundsdifferfromothersintheirlanguagelearningstrategies.ThisstudyaimstoexploretheBailearners’learningstrategies,andhowtheirindividualfactors,asnationalitiesandgenderinfluencetheirstrategies.

Secondlanguageacquisition(SLA)istheprocessbywhichpeoplelearnasecondlanguage.Thatis,itistheprocessoflearninganadditionallanguagebysomeonewhohasalreadylearneda
