InMarch2016,themovieZootopia,onceshown,madeagreatsuccessaroundtheworldandbecamethemoststrikinganimationfilminearly2016.Thefilmisakindofmediumofculturetransmission,andthedeepculturalconnotationiscontainedinthefilm.Inthispaper,Iwillanalyzethemoraldifferencebetweenthe"PoliticalCorrectness"cultureandtherealityinAmericanamelythevarioushiddendiscriminationinAmericaunderthecircumstancesofthecultureintegrationbyanalyzingthetypicalcharactersshapedinZootopiaandcombingwithconcreteexamplesfromvariousangles,atthesametime,toletreadershaveacertaincomprehensionofthepresentpoliticalrealitiesintheU.S..

FilmZootopia’sEnglishnameisZootopia,anewwordcombinedfrom“Zoo”and“Utopia”,whichmeansanutopiancountrymadeupofanimals.Thisstoryconstructsamagnificentanimalutopianforus.Filmtellsthestoryinamodernanimalsmetropolis,allspeciesofanimalsliveinharmonyandeachonecarriestheirownduties.RabbitJudydreamsofbecomingthepoliceofZootopiathroughherownefforts,tobreakpeople’sinnateideaso-called"Onlyabigmancanbeapolice”.Duringtheprocessofdetectingthemajorcases,foxNickwholivesonbluffanddeceivewasgraduallyimpressedbyJudy’spassionandcourageandbecamehergoodpartner,andatlasttheybrokesheepdeputymayor’conspiracyofconvertingthesystemofZootopia,endingwithbothbecomingthecompetentpoliceofficers.Zootopiaisananimationfilmforallages:

"PoliticalCorrectness"(PC)referstotheuseofanotherkindofwords,behaviorsandthoughtsinordertoavoidrealorso-calledunfairdiscriminatorywordsandthoughts.Toputitsimply,itisapopularsayingwhichreferstotheattitudetowardssomethingisveryconsistentwiththeuniversalvalues.Onewaytoshow"politicalcorrectness"istousethemostneutralwordstocommunicatewitheachotherinordertoavoidthediscriminationorharmtoothers.TheunremittingpursuitofequalityofAmericanisthehotbedofgeneratingandapplyingAmericanEnglish"politicalcorrectness"words.Theuseof"politicalcorrectness"inlanguagereflectsthesociety’sattentionandrespectforthevulnerablegroupstoacertaindegree.
3.1.1“PoliticalCorrectness”andDiscriminatoryLanguageinAmericanEnglish.

Nowadays,thenameof"politicalcorrectness"forblackAmericansshouldbe"AfricanAmerican"."AfricanAmerican"isthesecondlargestraceafterthewhiteAmericansandthelargestethnicminorityintheUnitedStates.However,duetohistoricalreasons,AfricanAmericanssufferfromthediscriminationofwhitesinthemainstreamofsociety,leavingbehindmanydiscriminatorylanguageagainstAfricanAmericans,namelythe“BlackLexicon”.“Nigger”isthemosttypicalandrepresentativeoneinthediscriminatorylanguageagainstAfricanAmericans,andalsothemostinsultingone.ThiswordcomesfromLatin,originallymeant"black",butlaterwhiteAmericansusedittodegradetheblackAmericans.JustasanarticlepublishedononePublicWelfareEducationInstitutionWebsitenamed“AfricanAmericanRegistry”hasmentioned:
“Theword“Nigger”isfullofthehatredanddisgustforAfricanandAfricanAmericans.Historically,usingonlyonewordtodefineandlimittheimagesofallblacksAmericans,andinsultthem,thisisarepulsiveterm,providingthebasisforthediscriminatoryspeech,whetheritistobeusedasanoun,verboradjective,itstrengthenedtheinherentimageoftheblackAmericansthattheyarelazy,stupid,dirty,insignificant,andthesecharacteristicsarebeingdeliberatelygiven,sothatthereisnocruelanyotherthantheAmericanvocabulary."Today,although“Nigger”stillhastheabovemeanings,butithasbeengenerallyconsideredasoneoftherepresentativewordsaboutthediscriminatorylanguage,whichispoliticallyincorrect.
II:
“PoliticalCorrectness”andDiscriminatoryLanguageagainstAsianAmericans.
Fromtheendofthe19thcenturytothebeginningofthe20thcentury,owingtoalargeamountofChineseimmigrantswenttoNorthAmerica,thewhiteAmericansregardedthissituationasathreatandeventuallyledtotheemergenceoftheso-called"yellowperil"panic.Then“Chink”asacallforwascreatedexactlyinthiscontext.Afewyearslater,theUnitedStatespassedtheso-called"ChineseExclusionAct".Hence,theword“Chink”wasgeneratedwiththeinsultingmeaning,andatthesametimeitwasopposedbytheChineseintheUnitedStates.“Chinaman”wasaearliercallforChinese,andMarkTwinhaseverusedthiswordtorefertoChineseinhisarticle“DisgracePersecutionforBoy”publishedin1870.Althoughwhenhewrotethisarticle,therewasnodiscriminationmeaning,butwiththetimegoingonandthedevelopmentofthesociety,thiswordwasalsomarkedastheinsultinglanguage.
ManyChineseAmericanshavetriedtochangethenegativemeaningofthiscallinvariousways,makingitmeaningfultorepresentthepositiveimageoftheChineseethnicgroup.In2004,theAmericansingerLeehomWangfromTaiwanissuedhisnewlypublishedmusicalbumas“chinked-out”,whichtranslatedintoChineseasChineseHip-Hop,hopingtogivethepositivesig
