ethicsarethemoralvaluesthatstopyoufromdoinganythingthatisnotlegalandthatdoesnotharmordamageanyoneelse'swork,orinterests.Thesesimpleetiquetteandethicshelptheenvironmenttobemoresafe,friendlyandco-operativeforothersaround.Computerethicsarenothingbuthowweuseourpersonalmoralsandethicswhileusingthecomputerforvariouspurposes.Theyconsistofalltherulesthatyouwouldapplytonotmisuseanyinformationthatisnotyourstouse,ortoaccessanydatathatisnotownedbyyou.Withissueslikecybercrimes,plagiarism,hackingandpasswordthefts,ithasbecomeimportanttoknowtheimportanceofcomputerethicstobeabletocreateasafecomputer-basedenvironment.

Yourcomputerisnotjustanelectronicdeviceforcommunication,itisyourdatastore,yourphotoalbum,yourworkrecorder,yoursocialnetwork,yourcalculatorandwhatnot...,itiswhatyouare!
