Shouldcollegestudentsskipclasses?

Ourschoolregulationhandbooksaysno.However,inmyopinion,collegestudentsshouldhavetherighttodoso.

Itisnecessaryheretostatethepurposeofstudents’attendingclasses.Theydothistogainmoreknowledgeandskills.Inmostcases,goingtoclassesisaverygoodandirreplaceablewayforstudentstoobtainknowledge.Insomecases,however,studentscanbenefitmoreiftheyskipcertainclasses.Somedosobecausetheyarenotinthemoodforclassesatthatspecialmoment;somedosobecausetheyhaveaneededsleepthatprovidesthemwithnecessaryenergyformoreimportantthingslaterintheday;somedosobecausetheydosomethingelsethattheycanonlydoatthatparticulartime.Ofcourse,iftheyarenotveryfamiliarwiththecontentofthemissedclass,theyshouldmakeupforit.Thereisanothercase,thoughnotverycommon,thatthewholecourseorpartofitisimproperorjusttoosimpleforsomestudentsormany.Thentheyshouldbeabletoskipsomeclasses.Anotherimportantreasonwhycollegestudentscanskipclassesisthattheyaremature.Almostallofthemaremorethan18yearsold.Theyhaveformedthesenseofjudgementandknowwhatisgoodorbadforthemselves.Theyknowforwhatandforwhomtheyarestudying,andtheycanjudgereasonablywhethertheyshouldskipornotskipaparticularclassunderparticularcircumstances.Theworldtodayhascometoera时代of“knowledgeexplosion”.Mountainsofusefulknowledgeandinformationarewaitingforyoungstudentstoknowormaster.Theycannotaffordseeingtheirhoursflowingawaywithnothingaccomplished.Iftheyfeelitawasteoftimegoingtocertainclasses,whymusttheyattendthem?
