Asearlyas1966,biologistsaskedthegovernmenttoconsiderreintroducingwolvestoYellowstonePark.Theyhopedthatwolveswouldbeabletocontroltheelkandcoyoteproblems.Manyframerswereagainsttheplanbecausetheyfearedthatwolveswouldkilltheirfarmanimalsorpets.
