AbstractAccordingtothewidespreadphenomenonof“dumbEnglish”whichappearedintheoralEnglishteachingofruralprimaryschools,thisthesisaimsatanalyzingthepresentsituationoforalEnglishteachingofruralprimaryschools,atthesametimefindingthemainquestionsbehindthissituation.Thenitdiscussesthebehindreasonsforthissituationtoproposesolutionsandmethodsfromtheviewpointsofteachersandstudents.AllofthemethodsarecenteredontheTask-BasedLanguageTeachingthatcontributestotheoralteachingofruralprimaryschools,thenproposingthedetailedmeasurestohelpruralstudentsdevelopthemselvesinanall-aroundway.

摘要针对农村小学生英语口语普遍存在的“哑巴英语”的现象,本文对农村小学的英语教学现状的分析,指出目前农村英语口语教学存在的问题,进而从教师和学生两个层面探讨问题背后的成因来试图摸索出改善的的途径,着重阐述任务型教学在农村小学英语教学提高中发挥的作用以及具体的实施措施,以此来帮助农村学生的全面发展。

1.Introduction

Asisknowntoall,withtherapiddevelopmentofeconomy,ourcountryhastakenonanewlook.Wearekeepinginclosetouchwiththeforeigncountries.Asthemostwidelyusedlanguagearoundtheworld,Englishplaysamoreandmoreimportantroleininternationalcommunication.Soitisessentialforour,Chinesepeople,tolearnEnglishwellespeciallyspeakwellsothatwecancommunicatewiththeforeignersfluently,whichleadstotheappearofthephenomenonthatmoreandmorepeople,nomatteroldoryoungarelearningEnglish.However,mostofthepeoplecannotspeakgoodEnglishespeciallytheruralstudents.MostofthemarejustlearningdumbEnglish.SofirstlyIanalyzethepresentsituation.ThenIdiscussthemainreasonsforthissituation.Atlast,Iproposesolutionsandmethodsfromteachers’teachingandstudents’studies.
