VehicularAutomaticTransmissioncanbedividedintothreetypes:

AutomaticTransmission(AT),AutomatedMechanicalTransmission(AMT)andContinuouslyVariableTransmission(CVT).AMTthatisfullofpotentiality,duetoitsAMTshiftingperformanceiskeytechnologyinthedeveloping.ShiftingperformancedirectlyinfluencethemarketcompetitionandindustrializationofAMT.

AMT,butduringtheshiftingprocedure,thepowermustbecutoffwhichcausesthepoorshiftingperformancethanATandCVT.Onlythroughimprovingtheshiftingperformancecanthecommercialcompetencebeestablished.Sothevirtualimportantthingistofindthewaytoimproveshiftingperformance.

ThedevelopmentofAMTcanbedividedintothreephases:

semi-automatic,automaticandintelligent.ThetwomajorpartofAMTare:

theatshiftqualityisanimportantprobleminthedomainofATresearching.ShiftqualitycontrolofATisaccomplishedbyelectronicandimprovetheATshiftquality,andgivesthematerialcalculatedmethodsoftheAG4AT.ThispapersimulatestheAG4AT’sshiftingprocessof2Hto3H.Theresultsofthesimulationvalidatetheestablishedsimplifiedmodelsandtheexpectedoilpressurechangingcurve.

ThispaperfullyanalyzesthemechanismofthepressureregulatingandflowcontrollingsystemoftheAG4AT,andpreparatorydiscussesthedesignoftheblock-diagramoftheshiftqualitycontrol.Thispapertestthecontrolsystemandoftheseanalyses.

AutomatedMechanicalTransmission,assocalledAMT,isanew-styletransmissionsystem.AMTtechnologyappliestheautomatictechnologytothemanualmechanicaltransmissionandmakestheselection-gear,shift,clutchandthrottleimplementautomatically.AMTtechnologyissuitableforthesituationofourcountry,andexpansivemarketanddevelopmentforeground.ShiftschedulesdecidethetimetoshiftandarethesouloftheAMT.WhentheAMTisworking,bycomparingthestatesofthevehiclewiththeoptimalshiftschedules,theAMTdecidestheoptimalshifttimeandachievestheshiftautomatically.Thiswilllessenthetirednessofthedriverandimprovethesafety.Atthesametime,thepowerandfuel-economyofthevehiclecanalsobeimproved.TheauthorchoosestheshiftscheduleasthekeytechnologyproblemtoberesearchedandthemainstudyaimofthisthesisistogettheoptimalshiftschedulesfortheAMTandsoimprovethepowerandfuel-economyofthevehicle.Throughanalyzingtheinfluencefactorsofpowerandfuel-economyfortheautomobile,theauthorgettheestablishmentmethodsfortheoptimal-powershiftscheduleandoptimalfuel-economyshiftschedule.Inordertosolvetheinfluenceofmassontheshiftschedule,theauthorpresentsavariable-structure-controlledshiftsystem.Thisenrichesthetheoryofshiftschedules.Becausethecomputersimulationcansavealotofmanpowerandmaterialresourcescomparingwiththetrue-cartest,sointhisthesis,theauthorusesthesimulationtoolboxMatlabSimulatetosetupthesimulationmodelforshiftschedules.Usingthismodel,theoptimal-powershiftscheduleandoptimalfuel-economyshiftscheduleabovearesimulatedandprovedtobereasonable.

Shiftingperformanceisdefinedastheextentofswiftnessandsoftnessduringtheprocedureofnon-powershiftingandtoextendthelifeofthepowertrain.Theindexiscomfortofpassenger,timedurationandshock,ninefactorsmaybeinfluencetheshiftingperformance,andtwoexperimentalmethodscanbeusedtoinvestigatethenatureofthisperformance:

oneiscollectingreal-timedataduringroadexperimentandanalyzingthem,theotheristhesimulationoftheoperationconditionsofthevehicle.

ThecoreoftheAMTsystemisthecontrolstrategy,theprincipleoftheclutchengagement,shiftingprocedure,thechoiceofcontrolmethodandtheCANcommunicationbetweenTCUandECUcaninfluencetheshiftingperformance.

Shiftingscheduleisthescheduleofautoshiftingtimebetweentwoshiftswithcontrollingparameters.Itincludeseconomicalanddynamicalshiftingschedule.Atpresent,shiftingscheduleoftwocontrollingparameters(vehiclespeedandopeningonthrottle)ismainlyused.Ifshiftingscheduleisnotgood,shiftingwillnotatrighttimeandtheworkingconditionofenginewillbesevere.Itwillmakethesoundofengineabnormallyandstabilitybadlythroughthewholeshiftingprocession.SometimesevenflameoutScheduleofclutchengagementisdeterminedbyreleasingjourneyofclutch,openingofthrottle,shifting,vehiclespeedandloading.Themain
