Specialistvolunteerswillhavespecificexistingskillsorqualificationsthatareneededforthemtocompletetherole,forexample,sportormedicaltraining.

Generalistvolunteerswillnotneedanyspecialskillsorqualificationsandwillreceivefulltraining.Theymightbegivenrolesinareassuchaseventservices,uniformdistribution(分发)andvillageoperations.Allvolunteerswillbeexpectedtoattendtrainingeventsthatwillgivethemtheknowledgetheyneedtocarryouttheirrole.
