Totherightoftheelephantgroup,wenoticedabigtree!

OurguideinformedusthatthiswasaBaobabtreeandthattheycouldliveforhundredsofyears.Comparedwiththistree,theelephantjustlookedlikedwarfs(muchsmallerplantsoranimals)!

WewereinformedthatTarangirewasoneofthebestNationalParksinAfricatoseesomanyBaobabtrees.

Aswecontinuedourdrivethroughthepark,wefinallyreachedawateringhole.Ourguidewarnedusthattherewerelionsallaroundus.Ittookusallawhiletofindthem,buttheretheywere!

Mostofthemarerestingintheshadeunderbushes,buttherewasonethatwasdrinkingfromthewateringholedirectlyinfrontofus.Wethennoticedjusttoourright,therewereacoupleoffreshzebrabodies—itseemedasifthelionswhichwererestinghadkilledthem!

Wewereunluckynottohaveseenthekill,asourguidehadmentionedthatthezebrabodieswerefreshandthekillhadhappenedwithinthelasthour.

Ourfinalbigsightingwasonethatnoneofuswereexpectingtosee,evenourguide!

Westoppedataplacewheretherewerequiteamanycars,withasleepingleopard(美洲豹)there!

Wetookphotosandwatcheditssurprisingbodybeforereturningtoourhotelasitwasgettinglate.

So,IhopeyouenjoyedmydescriptionofTarangire,andaddthisamazingparktoyourveryownTanzaniatravelroute.
