状语从句
1.在主从复合句中修饰主句中的动词，形容词，副词等的从句叫状语从句。
可分为，时间
状语从句，地点状语从句，原因，目的，结果，条件，让步，比较和方式状语从句。
2.时间状语从句
起时间状语作用的句子；
可放在句首，句中和句尾
常用引导词:
when,while,as,after,before,since,till,until,themoment,hardly…when,no
sooner…than
+when,while,as的用法
1）when用法最广，常可代替while和as,在while引导的从句中，动词只能是延续性
的
Whenthefirebrokeout,allthestudentsweresleepingsoundly.
ThetelephonerangwhileIwastakingabath.
2）当两个表示时间延续的动作同时发生而又有对比意味的时候，用while，在这样的
复合句中，主句从句的时态通常是相同的。
FatherwaspreparingareportwhileIwasplayingPCgames.
3）常用as的情况：
一边…一边；表示随着短暂动作的发生，另一行为伴随发生
Ashetalkedon,hegotmoreandmoreexcited.
Theytalkedastheywalkedalongtheriver.
MycapwasblownawayasIsatdown.
+until和till的用法
表示一直到…"时，主句和从句都用肯定式；
Iwillwaituntil/tilltheconcertisover.
表示直到…才…”是，主句用否定，从句用肯定式。
Theycan'tgountilSunday.
丄sinee的用法
since引导的从句中，如果是持续性动词，往往理解为某一状态的终止。
Hehaswrittentomefrequentlysineehewasill.自从他病好以来，他常写信给我。
It'sbeenayeareversinceIworkedhere.
+主将丛现。
时间状语从句一般不用将来时。
因此如果主句是将来时，时间状语从
句一般要用现在时。

丄一…就…的几种常用的表示方法
1）assoonas
Assoonasheheardthenews,hejumpedwithjoy.
2）Immediately
I'IIgiveyouananswerimmediatelyI'vefinishedreadingyourfile.
3）Directly
Directlyyoufeelanypains,youmustgotothedoctor.
4）Instantly
Pleasegivemeaphonecallinstantlyyouarrive.
5）nosoonerthan

6）hardly…when

3.地点状语从句
引导词where,wherever,anywhere,everywhere,nowhere
一般情况下，只要在where前面加上to/in/fromtheplace，就可以变为定语从句

4.原因状语从句
弓丨导词：
单词一because,as,since短语一nowthat,forthereasonthat,inthat,seeingthat
-Because,as,since,for
1）because的语气最强，用以回答why引起的提问，可表示已知或未知的世事。
可与only,merely,just,not连用，所引导的从句常用于主句之后，在表示强调的时候可置于主句之前（可用于强调结构）
Hewaspunishedonlybecausehebrokethelaw.
ItwasbecausethatIwenttotownyesterday.
2）as的语气最弱，不可用于强调，常至于主句之前。
Ashewasinahurry,heleftthisbaghome.
3）since的语气也比较弱，常表示对方已知的事实，往往相当于汉语的既然。
不用于强调。
常置于主句之前。
Sinceshecan'tanswerthisquestion,itisbettertoasksomeoneelse.
4）for连接并列句
Weshouldbemorecareful,foritisalreadydark.
—nowthat
用于口语，表示较弱的原因，主从句因果关系不明显。
既然，that可省略。
Now（that）youaregrownup,youshouldnotrelyonyourparents.
—forthereasonthat
后跟一个同位语从句。
-that
behappythat,begladthat,besurprisedthat有时也被认为是原因状语从句

5.目的状语从句

6.结果状语从句

so+副词、形容词+that

such+a+形容词+可数名词单数、复数+that

-That本身也可以引导结果状语从句

7.条件状语从句

if,uniess,as/solongas,once,incase,onconditionthat,supposing（that）,providing（that）,provided（that）,given（that）写作的时候，学会在文章里添加几个状语从句。

亠真实条件句与非真实条件句

其实属于一种虚拟语气。
第一种是真实条件句，表示可以实现，第二句是非真实条件
句，实现的可能性不大。
8.让步状语从句
-Though和although基本相同，但是though可以当副词，although不可以
Youngthoughsheis,shehastravelledtomanycountriestoputonshows.
I'vebitofheadache.It'snothingmuch,though.
—Eventhough禾口evenif
Eventhoughthelearningisslowandpainful,theresultiswonderful.

-wh-ever类的用法
引导名词性从句，只能用wh-ever，不能用nomatterwh-

9.比较状语从句
As…asnotas/so…as,thajnthe+比较级，the+比较级
Hishandwritingisnotasgoodasyours（is）.
Thesooneryouareback,thebetteritwillbe.
10.方式状语从句
-As正如，像
WillyoupleasedotheexperimentasIamdoing.
—asif和asthough
（1）如果表述内容可能性很大，则用陈述语气look/seem/taste/smell等词连用
Itlooksasifitisgoingtorain.
（2）表述的不是事实，则用虚拟语气
