A.Briefintroductionofthecompany
ShanghaiShenJianHigh-TechCo.,LtdwasestablishedinOctober1986,itisaprivatebusinessenterprisemanagedbytheTechnicalExploitationandExchangeCenterofShanghaiMunicipalScience&TechnologyCommission.SinceNovember1996,ITWASIDENTIFIEDBYShanghaiMunicipalScience&TechnologyCommissionasaHigh&NewTechnologyEnterprise,andlistedintotheenterprisescanenjoythepreferentialpolicyin“ShanghaiMunicipalProvisionsforpromotingtransferofHigh-Techachievements”,InDecember2000,itwasconvertedintoalimitedliabilitycompanywith50,110,000Yuanregisteredcapital.Thecompanypossessesagroupofspecialistsandtechnicalstaffwhopermanentlydealwithdifferentprofessions,suchasnewmaterial,processtechnology,electrochemistry,testcontrolandspecialprocessequipments.Thereare5professor-degreeseniorengineers,30seniorengineers,and20engineersandtechnicalpersonnelamongthem.Inaddition,thereisagroupofyoungpeopleisgrowingatthefrontline.

In1994,thepresidentChenYuledagroupoftechnicalandadministrationpersonnelengagedinthespecialmetallurgyandpeculiarmaterialresearchedanddevelopedpractiabilityofhydrogenenergy,partiallyontherareearthtypehydrogenstoragealloy,andNi-MHbatterywassoonmade.In1995,ShanghaiMunicipalScience&TechnologyCommissionsentdownatask“DevelopmentofNi-MHpowerbattery”,company’selectricbicyclesequippedwithNi-MHbatterypackswereshownatUSAAmericanInvestmentFair,andawardedwithdiplomaandgoldeneagleawards.In1998,thetechnicalidentifyoftheNi-MHpowerbatterypackwasfinishedafterthetechnicaldifficultywassettledinaccordancewiththetask“TheNi-MHpowerbatterypack”sentdownbyShanghaiMunicipalScience&TechnologyCommission.InJune1999,“LowcosthighefficiencyNi-MHbattery”wasapprovedbyShanghaiMunicipalScience&TechnologyCommissiontobelistedintoShanghaiMunicipalMajorTechnologicalIndustrializationProject.InOctober1999,
TheNationalDevelopmentandPlanningCommissionapproved“RapidSolidificationofHydrogenStorageElectrodeAlloyIndustrializationProject”tobelistedintoaspecialitemofindustrializationandapplicationofrareearthmaterialbyanemergentdocument.Withthesupportofthecorepatenttechnology,theproductwascontinuouslyanddeeplydeveloped,formedtheindustrializationlinkwiththehydrogenstoragealloyastheprincipalpart,thatistheproductionsystemandproductofthehydrogenstoragealloy,Ni-MHbattery,thirdgenerationelectricbicycle,caplampwithhighsafeLEDandsolidstatehydrogenstoragedevicewithhighspecificenergy.
B.Aimandtarget
AHigh-TechenterpriseisanaimofShenJianCompany,highandnewtechnologyistheexistinganddevelopingtargetofthecompany.From1996tonow,ithasbeenidentifiedbyShanghaiMunicipalScience&TechnologyCommissionasaHighandNewTechnologyEnterprise.
Onbaseofdevelopingnewtechnologies,newprocesses,newmaterialsandnewproducts,thecompanysuccessfullyinnovatedsomepatenttechnologiesandexclusively-ownedtechnologiesinthenewenergyresourcefield.Inaccordancewiththenationalenergyandenvironmentalpolicies,andwiththehelpofadvantageofhumanresource,thecompanyfirstdevelopthehydrogenstoragealloy,thenmanufacturedtherareearthseriesnewfunctionmaterialwithhighspecificcapacity,andtheborideseriessolidstatehydrogenstorageproductwithanewtechnologyofrapidsolidificationofandreduceunderhighpressurehydrogen.Inthespecialmetallurgyhydrogen,anewenergyresourceinthenewcenturyisnotonlythenationalenergytreasury,butalsoacleanenergywithoutanypollution.Thisprojecthasexhibitedendlessdevelopingpotentialbecauseofthehighstartingpoint.
Newmaterialsmustpromoteupgradeofthenewprocessandnewproduct;thehydrogenstoragealloyagainillustratedthisscientificstatement.Inapplicationpopularizingofthehydrogenstoragealloy,thecompanymanufacturedtheNi-MHbatteryforelectronicappliance,andpowertypeNi-MHbattery,thirdgenerationelectricbicycle,caplampwithhighsafeLED,andsolidstatehydrogenstoragedevice,theproductsystemofdiffusingindustrylinkhasalreadyshownanembryonicform.
Thecompanyaimistotakesolidstatehydrogenstoragealloyasbase,formnewenergyresourceindustrylink,precedeindustrializationconstruction,formalargescopeeconomy,occupythemarketathomeandabroad,makethecompanyestablishapowerfulstatusinthisfield.Alongwith“energysourcecrisis”wasincreasinglyaccelerated,theimportanceofhydrogenasanewgenerationenergyresourcewasincreasinglyextruded.Hydrogenactedasapowerwillbecomeasupportpostoffutureindustry,particularly,anautomobilewithafuelcellusinghydrogenasthepowerwillbecomeadevelopingdirectionoffutureautomobileindustry.Inthisdevelopingstage,thehybridelectricvehicle(HEV)withNi-MHbatteryandinternalcombustionenginewillestablishanimportantstageofdevelopinghistoryoftheelectricvehicleforitseconomyandpractice.Inapplicationofhydrogenenergy,bothsupplyandstorageisalwaysadifficultproblem,nootherthanresolvesafestorageoflowdensityhydrogen,theapplicationofhydrogenenergycanbereallyrealized.Thecurrenthydrogenstoragemethodcanbedividedintothreemethods,suchasgaseousstate,liquidstate,andsolidstate,accordingtothestoragestate.Thegaseousstatestoragemethodwillstoragehydrogenbyhighpressuregasandneedahighpressurecylinderwhichiseasilyleakedoutandevencauseariskofviolentexplosion;theliquidstatestoragemethodnotonlyneedshighenergyforluidifying,butalsoiseasytoevaporateandleakout;thesolidstoragemethodissaferthantheabovetwomethods,andthehydrogenstoragedensityisevidentlyhigherthangaseousandliquidstatestoragemethods.Now,petroleumnaturalgasandcoalresourceisincreasinglyexhausted,butwaterwillnotbeusedupontheearth.Watercanbedecomposedintohydrogenandoxygen,soitwillbeanewenergyresourceofhumanbeing.
Itispredictedthattwenty-onecenturyisatimesofhydrogenenergy,alargescaleofdevelopingandapplicationofhydrogenandstorageandconveyanceisakeytechnology.Thesolidstatehydrogenstoragehasahightechnicalrequirement,thecoretechniqueistosynthesizehighspecificenergy,andmetalhydridematerialwithmorethan3%ofhydrogenstoragecapacity,anditisalsoacoreandstressofthisproject.
