从1997年1月1日起，所有IEC标准均以60000系列描述发行。
例如，原IEC34-1对应现在的IEC60034-1.
统一版本
目前IEC是其出版发行物的统一翻译。
例如，版本号为1.0、1.1、1.2分别参照原始出版物、原始发行合订修正1、原始发行合订修正1与2。
出版物中的深层信息
IEC的技术内容是由IEC持续的回顾修正得以维护的，因此保证了其内容能够真实反映目前的技术。
除新版本、修订及勘误之外，包括其有效性在内，有关本标准的信息都可经由出版物（如下）的IEC目录得以访问。

FOREWORD前言
1）TheInternationalElectro-technicalCommission（IEC）isaworldwideorganizationforstandardizationcomprisingallnationalelectro-technicalcommittees（IECNationalCommittees）.TheobjectofIECistopromoteinternationalco-operationonallquestionsconcerningstandardizationintheelectricalandelectronicfields.Tothisendandinadditiontootheractivities,IECpublishesInternationalStandards,TechnicalSpecifications,TechnicalReports,PubliclyAvailableSpecifications（PAS）andGuides（hereafterreferredtoas“IECPublication（s）”）.Theirpreparationisentrustedtotechnicalcommittees;anyIECNationalCommitteeinterestedinthesubjectdealtwithmayparticipateinthispreparatorywork.International,governmentalandnongovernmentalorganizationsliaisingwiththeIECalsoparticipateinthispreparation.IECcollaboratescloselywiththeInternationalOrganizationforStandardization（ISO）inaccordancewithconditionsdeterminedbyagreementbetweenthetwoorganizations.
国际电工委员会（IEC）是一个由各国电工委员会（IEC国家委员会）组成的国际性标准化组织，IEC的目的是促进包括电工电子等领域关于标准化问题的国际合作，针对这一目的，除其它活动外，IEC发布国际标准、技术要求、技术报告、非官方用规格（PAS）和导则（今后参阅为“IECPublication（s）”）。
技术委员会负责国际标准的制定，任何对所涉及内容关切的IEC国家委员会都可参与标准的制定工作。
与IEC有联系国际的、官方和非官方组织也可并参与标准的制定工作。

2）TheformaldecisionsoragreementsofIEContechnicalmattersexpress,asnearlyaspossible,aninternationalconsensusofopinionontherelevantsubjectssinceeachtechnicalcommitteehasrepresentationfromallinterestedIECNationalCommittees.
IEC在技术上的正式决议或协议，是由对这些问题特别关切的国家委员会参与的技术委员会制定的，对所有涉及的问题尽可能严谨的表达国际上的多数一致的意见，
3）IECPublicationshavetheformofrecommendationsforinternationaluseandareacceptedbyIECNationalCommitteesinthatsense.WhileallreasonableeffortsaremadetoensurethatthetechnicalcontentofIECPublicationsisaccurate,IECcannotbeheldresponsibleforthewayinwhichtheyareusedorforanymisinterpretationbyanyenduser.
IEC以推荐形式供国际上应用，并在此意义上被所有IEC国家委员会认可，所有合理的努力以保证IEC的技术内容的正确性，对任何最终应用者由于使用上的误解所产生的后果，IEC不担负任何责任。
4）Inordertopromoteinternationaluniformity,IECNationalCommitteesundertaketoapplyIECPublicationstransparentlytothemaximumextentpossibleintheirnationalandregionalpublications.AnydivergencebetweenanyIECPublicationandthecorrespondingnationalorregionalpublicationshallbeclearlyindicatedinthelatter.
为了提高国际上的统一，各IEC国家委员会有责任使IEC标准在该国家和地区最大程度的采用。
任何相应的国家或地区的相关标准与IEC标准之间的差异都应在该国家或地区标准中得到明确的说明。
5）IECprovidesnomarkingproceduretoindicateitsapprovalandcannotberenderedresponsibleforanyequipmentdeclaredtobeinconformitywithanIECPublication.
IEC不以标志的形式表示认可，对任何声明符合本标准的设备也不承担责任。
6）Allusersshouldensurethattheyhavethelatesteditionofthispublication.
所有使用者应该保证拥有IEC标准的最新版本
7）NoliabilityshallattachtoIECoritsdirectors,employees,servantsoragentsincludingindividualexpertsandmembersofitstechnicalcommitteesandIECNationalCommitteesforanypersonalinjury,propertydamageorotherdamageofanynaturewhatsoever,whetherdirectorindirect,orforcosts（includinglegalfees）andexpensesarisingoutofthepublication,useof,orrelianceupon,thisIECPublicationoranyotherIECPublications.
IEC或其主导者、雇员、服务人员或包括个体专家、技术委员会成员和IEC国家委员会的代理者不对个人伤害、财产损失或其它直接的、间接的自然伤害负责，也不对基于本IEC标准和其他IEC标准的费用（包括法律费）及出版开支的增加负责。
8）AttentionisdrawntotheNormativereferencescitedinthispublication.Useofthereferencedpublicationsisindispensableforthecorrectapplicationofthispublication.
需要引起注意的是本国际标准列出的相关标准参考，参考标准的应用是正确使用本标准的必要条件。
9）AttentionisdrawntothepossibilitythatsomeoftheelementsofthisIECPublicationmaybethesubjectofpatentrights.IECshallnotbeheldresponsibleforidentifyinganyorallsuchpatentrights.
