Inordertosuitthemarket,ensuretheproductsmeettherequirementofcustomer,thecompanyadoptedprocessapproachwhendeveloping,implementingandimprovingtheeffectivenessofthequalitymanagementsystem.ThecompanyestablishedtheQualityManual,editionA,basedonthestandardsofAPISpecQ1-2003,the7thedition,SpecificationforQualityProgramforthePetroleumPetrochemicalandNaturalGasIndustry,andGB/T19001-2008idtIS09001:

2008,QualityManagementSystem—Requirementsaswellastherealsituationofthecompany,theQualityManualisnowapprovedtobeissuedandputintoeffectfromJan.20.2006.

Themanualspecifiesourcompany’squalitypolicyandobjectives,outlinesourqualitysystemanddescribestherequirementsandbasicruleofitsimplementation,andidentifiestheproceduredocumentsformainprocesses.Themanualaffordsouractiveguidelineofaction.Allemployeesofthecompanymuststrictlycomplywiththespecificrequirementsofthemanual.

1ContentsoftheQuailtyManual

ThequaltiymanaulwasestablishedbasedonthestandardsofAPISpecQ1:

2003,thespecificationforqulatiyprogrameforthepetroleum,petrochemicalandnaturalgasindustry,andGB/T19001—2008idtIS09001:

2008,qualitymanagementsystem-requirementsaswellastherealsituationofthecompany,whichincludes:

a)Thescopeofthequalitymanagementsystemrelatingtotherawmaterialpurchasing,design,manaufacture,inspection,salesandserviceofsquaredrillstemglobevlave,drillstemjointsandswitchoverjoints,thereisnoanyexclusionstothestandards.

b)Thedocumentedproceduresestablishedforthequalitymanagementsystem.

c)Thedescriptionoftheinteractionbetweentheprocessesofthequalitymanagementsystem.

2TermsandDefinitions

ThetermsanddefinitionsgiveninGB/T19000—2008idtISO9000:

2008,qualitymanagementsystem-fundamentalsandvocabularyandsection3ofAPISpecQ1:

2003shallapply.

3ControlofOutsourcingProcess

Controlandmonitortheoutsourceprocesses(suchashydrostatictests)accordingtotheprocedureControlProcedureofPurchasing.

4ManagementoftheQualitymanual

4.1TheQualityManualshallbeapprovedbytheGeneralManagerpriortoitsissue.TheQualityManagementDept.isresponsibleforthemanagementoftheQualitymanual,noonecanprovidethequalitymanualtothepersonoutsideofthecompanywithouttheapprovalofthemanagementrepresentative.Whenthemanualholderleavesthecompany,thequalitymanaulshallbereturnedtoTheQualityManagementDept.andrelativeproceduresshallbegonethrough.

4.2Themanualholdershallproperlykeepthemanual,anyloss,damageandarbitrarilyalterationshallbeprohibited.

5Changestothequalitymanual

5.1Theneedofchangingqualitymanualshallbereviewedbythemanagementrepresentaive,approvedbythegeneralmanagerpiortoitsimplementation.

5.2TheQualityManualwascombinedbyeveryindependentchapter,therewasidentificationofrevisedstatusandpageNo.foreverychapter.Therefore,eachchaptercanberevisedsolely,whichwouldnotaffecttheeditionofthequalitymanaul.TheArabicnumbers0,1,2,3….willbeusedtoidentifytheresivisedstatus.

5.3AfterchangingtheQualityManual,TheQualityManagementDept.shallrevisetherelativecontrolleddocumentsaccordingly,reclaimtheoldchapter(page)anddisposethemaccordingtotherequirementsofProcedureofDocumentContro1.

5.4TheuncontrolledcopyofQualityManuaIcanbeprovidedtotheoutsideofthecompanyaftertheapprovaloftheGeneralManagerorManagementRepresentative,TheQualityManagementDept.shallmakerelativerecord.butwillnotfoIlowitsvalidity.

5.5Normally,thereviewedonthequalitymanaulwillbeconductedonceeveryyearaccordingtotherequirementofProcedureofDocumentControl;thefrequencycanbeincreasedasnecessary,ifanychangesneededtotheQualtiyManauIafterthereview,theitem5.1,5.2and5.3shallbeimplemented.

6ChangetotheeditionofQualityManual

6.1Thechangetothequalitymanualshallbeapprovedbythegeneralmanager.

6.2Theeditionofthequalitymanualcanbechangedfortheoneormoreoffollowingsituations:

a)Bigchangetoproduct;

b)Bigchangetotheapplicablescopeofqualitymanual;

c)Editionchangeofstandardreferred;

d)Bigchangetocompany’sorganizationstructure.

6.3TheNo.ofeditionshallbeidentifiedbytheletterA,B,C….

6.4TheQualityManagementDept.shalldulyreleasethecontrolledcopyoftheneweditionqualitymanualandreclaimtheoldedition,theprocedureofdocumentcontrolshallbeimplementedaccordingly.
