Afterthefairtheridewasmovedtoanearbyamusementparkbuiltespeciallytoshowoffthewheel.In1904itwasmovedagain—thistimetoSt.LouisfortheLouisianaPurchaseExposition.AfterthefairinSt.Louisclosed,thewheelstoodunused.In1906itwasfinallysoldtoacompanyforscrap（废弃材料）metal.Ittook200poundsofdynamitetobringitdown.
