Byyear'sendatotalof13stateshaveanALI-typelaw.Fourstatesallowabortionondemand.Mississippiallowsabortionforrapeandincest[1966]whileAlabamaallowsabortionforthemother'sphysicalhealth[1954].However,31statesallowabortiononlytosavethemother'slife.
