1.WhoisBertrandRussell?

2.WhatisRussell’sParadox?

Russelldiscoveredtheparadoxthatbearshisnamein1901,whileworkingonhisPrinciplesofMathematics(1903).Theparadoxarisesinconnectionwiththesetofallsetsthatarenotmembersofthemselves.Suchaset,ifitexists,willbeamemberofitselfifandonlyifitisnotamemberofitself.Theparadoxissignificantsince,usingclassicallogic,allsentencesareentailedbyacontradiction.Russell'sdiscoverythuspromptedalargeamountofworkinlogic,settheory,andthephilosophyandfoundationsofmathematics.
