当你挖空心思想出一个好主意,或者你勤奋工作为公司发展做出了极大贡献时,却有人试图把这份功劳归为己有。
面对这种情况,你该怎么办?
总不能整天气急败坏吧?
下面几种方法或许对你有所帮助:
(l)用短信澄清事实当然,首先写的信不能有任何坏的影响,短信内容一定不能让对方产生不快。
写信的主要目的是要委婉地提醒一下对方,自己当初随便提出的想法,是怎样演变到今天这个令人欣喜的样子。
在信中适当的地方,你可以写上有关的日期、标题,可以引用任何现存书面证据。
在短信的最后要建议进行一次面对面的讨论,这是很重要的,这能让你有机会再次含蓄加强一下你的真正意思:
这主意是你想出来的。
如果真的有人把你的功劳忘记了。
想把功劳归属于自己,那么这个方法倒能为你争回功劳起一定作用。
(2)夸赞挖你功劳的人,然后重申功劳是自己的说这番话的时候,要再一次对这同事的独一无二的才能和见解大加赞赏。
这种方法对职业女性来说特别需要。
很多研究者发现,女性员工喜欢从“我们”的角度——而不是“我”的角度来做事,所以她们的想法和首创就常常会被男性同事挪用。
如果着眼于事情的积极一面——你的同事也是想方设法要干出最好的工作,而且他(她)对要做的事情也有独到的看法——也许会有助于你解决这个可能很棘手的问题。
当你觉得这个方法比较适合你应用时,你就应早点行动,如果等你的同事把你的想法散布开时再行动,困难就大得多了。
(3)退出争夺战初看起来,这似乎不是一种方法,或者不能算是一种很好的方法。
但对某些人来讲,这或许是最好的。
你应该问一问你自己:
哪个更重要,是把这个想法付诸实施,还是独自拥有想出这个点子的名誉?
这是一个复杂的问题,特别是对女性来说,什么时候应该跟男同事理直气壮地理论“挪用他人想法”的问题,什么时候又应该为本机构做出一些牺牲呢?
在做出决定时,应该考虑一下,要打这场“官司”得花费多少精力。
在某些情况下,比如你正要接受一次重要的提升,要付出大量的时间和精力;或者除了“原则问题”之外其他并无妨碍,而要证明所有权只能使你疲惫不堪……也许还会让你的上级生气,让他们纳闷你为什么不能用你的时间来做点更有意义的事情。
在这些情况下退出争夺战显然是明智之举,是上上之策。
