Thefollowingtableprovides“rule-of-thumb”guidelinesforanaverageinstallation.Soiltypevarieswidelyfromoneregiontoanother.Theactualdepthanddiameteroftheholeandtheamountofconcreteusedisverydependentonsoiltype.Installationsinloose,sandysoilwillrequirealarger,deeperholewithmoreconcretethananinstallationinhard,rockysoil.Theamountofpolestickingoutofthegroundandthewindspeedsinyourareaalsoplayanimportantroleindeterminingthedepthanddiameterofthehole.Ifindoubt,werecommendthatyouconsultacivilengineerinyourareathatisfamiliarwithlocalsoilconditions.

Whenyourholeisreadyplacethepieceofpipeinitsothatitisrestingonthebottomofthehole-itisagoodideatofillthebottom2”-4”oftheholewithrocks.Bracethepoleplumbandpourconcretearoundit.Filltheholetogroundlevel,addalittleextraconcreteanduseatroweltoformamoundaroundthepolesothattheconcreteslopesdownawayfromthepole.Allowtheconcretetosetupforatleast24hoursbeforeinstallingyourrack.

DirectPower&WaterCorporation（DP&WC）warrantstotheoriginalcustomerthatitsproductsshallbefreefromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipforaperiodoffive（5）years.

Atitsoption,DP&WCwillrepairorreplaceatnochargeanyDP&WCproductthatprovestobedefectivewithinsuchwarrantyperiod.ThiswarrantyshallnotapplyiftheDP&WCproducthasbeendamagedbyunreasonableuse,accident,negligence,serviceormodificationbyanyoneotherthanDirectPower&WaterCorporation,orbyanyothercausesunrelatedtomaterialsandworkmanship.

Theoriginalconsumerpurchasermustretainoriginalpurchasereceiptforproofofpurchaseasaconditionprecedenttowarrantycoverage.Toreceivein-warrantyservice,thedefectiveproductmustbereceivednolaterthanone

（1）weekaftertheendofthewarrantyperiod.TheproductmustbeaccompaniedbyproofofpurchaseandReturnAuthorization（RA）numberissuedbyDP&WC.ForanRAnumbercontactDirectPower&WaterCorporation,4000-BVassarDrNE,Albuquerque,NewMexico87107（505）889-3585.PurchasersmustprepayalldeliverycostsorshippingchargestoreturnanydefectiveDP&WCproductunderthiswarrantypolicy.

Exceptforthewarrantythattheproductsaremadeinaccordancewiththespecificationsthereforesuppliedoragreedtobycustomer,DP&WCMAKESNOWARRANTYEXPRESSEDORIMPLIED,ANDANYIMPLIEDWARRANTYOFMERCHANTABILITYORFITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSEWHICHEXCEEDSTHEFOREGOINGWARRANTYISHEREBYDISCLAIMEDBYDP&WCANDEXCLUDEDFROMANYAGREEMENTMADEBY

ProductswillbeconsideredacceptedbycustomerunlesswrittennoticetothecontraryisgiventoDP&WCwithinten（10）daysofsuchdeliverytocustomer.DP&WCshallnotinanycasebeliableforanyeventoccurringordefectdiscoveredwithregardtosaidproductunlesswrittennoticethereofisgiventoDP&WCwithinninety（90）daysofsuchproductdeliverytocustomer.

DP&WCisnotresponsibleforlossordamagetoproductsownedbycustomerandlocatedonDP&WC’spremisescausedbyfireorothercasualtiesbeyondDP&WC’scontrol.Thiswarrantyisinlieuofallotherwarrantiesexpressedorimplied.
