③复数名词表示一类人或事物时，名词前不用冠词。

④在称呼语或表示衔的名词前不加冠词。

⑤在季节、月份、星期的名称前不用冠词。

⑧当抽象名词或物质名词来表示一般概念时不用冠词。

⑨两个相同及相对的名词并用时，也不用冠词。

例如：

⑩用于某些搭配中。

例如：

gotowork去上班infrontof在……前面

ontime按时；准时infuture今后

attable进餐inhospital住院

去上学在家

在睡觉步行

骑自行车乘车

spring和summer是表示季节的名词。

一般来说，表示特指某地的某个季节时，季节名词前而就加“the”，而如果泛指一年四季，季节名词前面不加定冠词。
