Thefirstparagraphofanewsstoryiscalledthelead.Italmostalwaysgivesyouthestory'smaintopicandmostimportantfacts.Whenyoureadanewspaperleadsentence,trytofindthesubjectandmainverbandnotehowtherestofthesentenceaddsinformationtothesubjectandmainverb
