Step1.Leading in andGreeting

AnanalysisofthecharacteristicsofClozeTestsinthepast years.EmphasizingononeofthereformintheCollegeEntranceExam,whichincreasestheClozeTestfrom10blanksto15blanks.

DrawaconclusionthattheClozeTestconcentratesmoreonone’sabilityof analysing andunderstandingapassage.

Step 3. Presentthecorrectmethodsanditsprocesstostudents.

Firstly,skimthewholepassageandfocusonthe mainideaofthepassage, especially its topicsentence.

Guidethestudentstopayattentiontothetopicsentences,forfrom them,wecandrawaconclusionofwhatapassageismainlyabout.

Showtwosamplesandrequirethestudentstounderlinethetopicsentencesineachparagraph.

Secondly, invite studentstopresenttheinformationtheygetfromthepassage,andshowthestructureofthepassageonthe background. Withthestructure,guidethestudentstofilltheblanks,fromtheeasiesttothemostdifficult.

Thirdly, gothrough thepassage quickly again andcheckeachanswer.
