1.Introduction

Radonoverview

Radonisanaturalradioactivedecayofradiumisotopesinsuburaniumandthoriumdecayseriesinthebody,itselfalsohastheradiation,emitsanalphaparticledecay,becometheradonprogeny,thehalf-lifeof3.825days.

Radonmeasurementcanbeusedtoexploretheuraniumdepositinrecentyearshasdevelopedtocanbeusedforoilexploration,isofgreatsignificanceinthesearchforcleanenergy.Ouruseofwaterradonvariationofearthquakepredictionhasbeen40yearsofhistory,therecentinternationalandsoilatmospheretopredictearthquakeshavenewbreakthrough.Inrecentyears,theWorldHealthOrganizationannouncedthenaturalradiationpeopleby50%iscausedbyradonandradonintheenvironmentofinhaledtoomuchcancauselungcancerandotherdiseases,thereforetheradonmeasurementhasgraduallybecomeatopicofpublicconcern.Acomprehensiveunderstandingofinstrumenttypes,principleandapplicationforpeopletopaymoreattentionto.Classificationoftheradonmeasurementinstrument

Thephysicochemicalpropertiesofradon

Radonisacolorlessodorlesstransparentunitofinertgasinthestandardstate,densityis9.73kg/m3.Whenthetemperaturedroppedto-65℃intoaliquid,itsdensityis5.7×103kg/mol.Thetemperaturedroppedfurtherto-71℃becomeshinyorangesolid.

Radonisaninertgas,isnoteasytoproducechemicalreaction.Radondecayhalf-lifeof3.825d,whentheenergyofalphaparticlesemittedby5.49MeV.Radoncanbedissolvedinwaterandotherliquids,itiseasytodissolveinthebloodandfat,canbedissolvedintherubber,thelyticfactor(theratioconcentrationintheairoftheliquidsampleand)hascloserelationwithtemperature,pressure.Atthesametimeradon+adsorptioneasilyactivatedcarbon,clayandotherporousmaterials.Activatedcarbonadsorptioncoefficientisafunctionoftemperature,thetypicalvalueslistedintable-1.
