二、课程简介

本课程着重介绍西方人文思想传统的发展情况，从古典西方文化到中世纪文化，到文艺

复兴文化，到17世纪，18世纪文化，再到西方现代文化。

介绍仅局限于一些基本常识，为

学生了解西方文化提供一个重要基础。

如果有学生对某些具体领域感兴趣可找一些参考书

看，进一步地充实自己。

四、教学的目的，要求与方法

（一）教学目的

通过本课程的学习，使学生比较系统的掌握西方文化的发展（从西方古典文化到西方现

代文化）。

（二）教学要求

全面了解西方文化的发展史。

对西方文化发展的各个历史时期有比较清楚的概念：

如西

方古典文化，犹太和基督教文化，中世纪文化，文艺复兴，启蒙运动等。

对重要的思想流派，

文学流派有所了解：

如浪漫主义，现实主义，自然主义，新古典主义，现代派和后现代派等。

对一些有影响的思想和理论也要有所了解：

如古典主义，德国古典哲学，马克思主义，达尔

文主义，实证主义，功利主义，实用主义，弗洛伊德精神分析等。

（三）教学方法

课程讲授为主，组织讨论，利用网络。
