III.教材分析与教材重组

1.教材分析

本单元以Europe为话题,旨在通过教学使学生了解欧洲一些著名城市的地理位置及其特色,能运用所学词汇结合课文中及课下查找的资料描写一个城市,能写关于所在城市情况的介绍。

1.1INTRODUCTION通过对一幅欧洲地图的描述,激活学生的背景知识并介绍了部分欧洲国家的概况引出本单元的话题Europe,同时进行词汇,句型的学习,为学生进行阅读,写作打下基础。

1.2READINGANDVOCABULARY课文分为四个部分,分别描写了欧洲著名城市巴黎、巴塞罗那、佛罗伦萨和雅典。

从文中读者可了解这些城市的地理位置和不同特色,展示了欧洲古典丰富的文化,扩大了学生的视野。

各部分都从三方面对城市进行描写:

1.城市所在位置2.重要地位3.特色或著名的名胜。

阅读理解题设置了猜测词义,问答,判断正误及讨论四个题,检测学生对课文的理解,培养学生获取信息,猜词的能力,引导学生在掌握课文的基础上联系实际,陈述自己的观点。

1.3FUNCTION同课文紧密联系,使学生掌握并自如运用描述位置的词和词组。

1.4GRAMMA1讲解了本单元的语法项目:

被动语态的一般现在时和一般过去时。

并给出相关示例,使学生通过观察,分析掌握所学内容,再进行练习运用。

1.5LISTENING是围绕Europe话题文章。

强化学生通过听来获取讲话人信息并得出结论的能力。

1.6WRITING示范写作步骤,培养学生为写作准备素材的能力,并与阅读紧密联系,降低了写作难度,巩固了所学知识。

1.7GRAMMA2讲解了本单元的另外一个语法项目:

主谓一致。

通过例句讲解和问答使学生体会学习主谓一致,并通过练习加以巩固。

1.8PRONUNCIATIONANDEVERYDAYENGLISH口语训练目的是培养学生通过说话人的语调变化来了解他所要表达真实含义的能力,其内容依然紧紧围绕着Europe和Location。

学生通过听来辨别不同语调,而后将其用于实践,加以巩固,同时复习了本单元重点。

1.9CULTURECORNER提供了相关的背景知识,简略介绍了欧共体,使学生进一步了解欧洲,扩大了知识面,训练题培养学生快速获得所需信息的能力。

1.10TASK设置了一个难度不大且学生感兴趣的任务:

以小组为单位选择中国某一地区,为其建立档案,且已给出提纲。

有助于学生将所学知识用于实践,锻炼了学生查找资料和自主学习的能力。

2.教材重组

从教材内容与单元目标分析,本单元可分为五课时。

2.1将Introduction,Readingandvocabulary,Culturecorner和Workbook中的Vocabulary部分整合在一起上一节“阅读课”。

2.2将Function与Writing,Task组合在一起成为一节“写作课”。

2.3Listening与PronunciationandEverydayEnglish及Workbook中的Reading设计为一节“听说课”。

2.4将Grammar1和Grammar2同Workbook中的Grammar结合设计为一节“语法课”。

2.5将Workbook中的Listeningandspeaking,speakingandwriting作为一节“综合实践课”。
