一、教学目标与要求
1、能够理解并会朗读let’sread部分的短文、能完成文后回答问题的练习。
2、能够听、说、认读单词和短语：
people,know,havetheflu,takesomemedicine等。
3、基本会唱歌曲“thewayifeel”。
4、了解goodtoknow部分的内容。
二、教学重、难点分析
1、本课时的教学重点是学生能够充分理解朗读短文。
2、本课时的教学难点是学生能理解条件状语从句和时间状语从句并能用这两种从句简单问答。
三、教学步骤和建议
1、warm-up
（1）“配音”活动
教师示范let’slearn部分的教学挂图。
随意指向图中一个人物，要求学生根据人物特征快速配音，如：
ihaveacold.该活动可进行分竞赛。
（2）教师放let’schant部分的录音，师生一齐吟唱。
2、preview
“吊死鬼”
教师心中想好let’stalk或let’slearn部分学过的某个四会单词，如headache，在黑板上用短横“－”划出组成该单词的字母的个数。
两组学生轮流说字母，（教师可提示出某个字母）如果所说的是该单词的一个组成字母，教师就写在相应的短横线上。
如果不是则记一个o，然后说错一个字母加一笔，错到第七次时画成一个简单小人，意即被“吊”起，哪一组先被吊起则为输家。
3、presentation
let’sread
（1）“辨别真假”活动。
学生分成两大组，每组依次派代表说一个句子，如：
“ihaveaheadache.”同时做头疼或其他不舒服的表情和动作，另一组学生来判断：
动作与句子意思一致则说：
yes!
不一致则说：
no!
如此几个来回以后，教师可说新句子：
“ihavetheflu.”同时做打喷嚏、咳嗽状，提示学生flu的意思。
（2）教师问学生：
“howdoyoufeelifyouhavetheflu?
”让学生回答各种症状，如：
“ihaveaheadache.ihaveasorethroat.”等。
（3）教师继续说：
“ifyouhavetheflu,youshouldgoandseethedoctorortakesomemedicine.”教师出示一盒或一瓶药教学新单词medicine和短语takesomemedicine.
（4）教师指导学生阅读短文，提出answerthequestions部分的两个问题让学生阅读后口头回答，教师在学生阅读过程中走动解答疑难问题。
（5）教师请学生回答answerthequestion中的两个问题。
再放本部分的录音，学生跟读。
师生一起核对答案。
（6）“调查”活动
教师事先指导学生设计制作一张调查表，如下所示：
学生可随意走动寻找调查对象，调查过程中必须用英语对话。
所调查的问题最好多样化，如：
“howdoyoufeelifyouhaveaheadache/toothache?
”以及“whatdoyoudowhenyouhaveaheadache/toothache?
”等。

教师用简单画画三张脸来表示happy,sad和mad。
教师放歌曲录音，学生静听。
然后教师略讲歌词大意，再放录音，学生学唱歌曲。
goodtoknow
教师先请学生看goodtoknow部分zoom的四种表情动作，再请学生读本部分的四个句子，与zoom的四种表情和zip手举的四种颜色连线。
师生集体核定答案，为学习下一课时有关情绪的话题铺垫。
4、consolidationandextension
（1）学生做alet’sread部分的活动手册配套练习。
（2）学生听alet’sread部分的录音并跟读，然后读给朋友或家长听。
