Ontheroof,SherlockdropshisphonebehindhimandstaresintenselyaheadofhimselfasJohnscreams,“Sherlock!

”upathim. 

Intheelevator,Jim’sdeadopeneyesarenowblueinsteadofbrown.ThemantakesthemaskoutofthecaseandlaysitoverJim’sface,thenpicksupascalpelandreachesforwardtostartliftingtheclosedeyesonthemask.ThesecondmanstartstoapplyadarkcurlywigtoJim’sslicked-downhair.

Ontheroof,Sherlockspreadshisarmsandfallsforward.Johnstaresinhorror,andamanonapushbikeslamsintohimfrombehind,sendinghimcrashingtotheground.Sherlockplummetstowardstheground,butnowit’sclearthatheisattachedtoabungeecord.WhileJohnliesonthegroundstilltryingtocatchhisbreath,MollyHooperwatchesfromawindowofBart’sasSherlockplungespast,thebungeecordtrailingbehindhim.Heheadstowardsthepavementbutthecordstopshisfallasitreachesitsfullextension.Sherlock’sbreathwhooshesoutofhim...thentheelasticbeginstocontractandSherlockisyankedskywards.Mollygaspsasheshootsbackintoview,flailingtochangehisdirectionand,beforeshecanreact,hewrapshisarmsaroundhisheadandkickshiswaythroughthewindowinfrontofher.ShecringesbackfromthebreakingglassandSherlocklandsonhisfeetandunclipsthebungeecordfromhiswaist.ItiswhippedoutofthewindowanddisappearsfromviewandSherlockstraightenshiscoat,ruffleshishandsthroughhishairandmarchesovertoMolly,takingherheadinhishandsandkissingherdeeplyforacoupleofseconds.Shereachesuptoholdhisheadbuthepullsaway,givingheralonglastlookandthenleavingtheroom.Shewatcheshimgowithagirlysmileonherface.

Downstairs,thetwomenaredraggingJim’sbody–nowperfectlydisguisedasSherlock’s–outontothestreet,andnearbyamanwearingafur-linedhoodedjacketisapproachingJohn.Themenputthebodyintopositiononthepavementandoneofthemsquirtsfakebloodontothepavingstonesaroundthehead.Otherpeople–variousfakemedicalstaffandpassers-by–arerunningintopositionaroundthebody.Thejacket-wearingmanwalksovertoJohnasmorepeopleruntowardsthescene.Johngetsupontohisknees,seeingthepassers-byrunningovertothebodyandpointingupwardsastheyappeartodiscusswhattheyjustsaw.Johngetstohisfeet,andthemanstepsintohisway.）

DERREN:

John.
