However,makingchoicesundertheinfluenceofanemotioncangreatlyaffecttheresult.Takeanger,forexample.AstudybyaUniversityofMississippifoundtheangryshoppersweremorelikelytochoosethefirstthingtheywereofferedratherthanconsiderotherchoices.Itseemsangercanleadustomakequickdecisionswithoutmuchthinking.
