Passwordsmustbeconstructedofalphanumericcharacters.Theymustnotbetrivialandeasytoguess.Thefollowingmustnotbeusedaspasswords:
familiarstrings（i.e.,daysofweek,monthsoftheyear,thename/valueoftheUserID）;
wordsthatcanbetracedeasilytothepersonaccessingthedata（i.e.,nameofspouse,children,vehiclesowned,etc.）;

RevokedPasswords
Ifyoumakethreeunsuccessfullogonattempts,yourpasswordwillberevoked.Ifyourpasswordisrevoked,youmustgotothefollowingInternetsitetohaveitreset:
PasswordsarerevokedautomaticallybythesystemforanyIDthatisnotusedwithin（90）consecutivedaysoflastuse.
ExpiredPasswords
Yourpasswordwillexpireeveryninety（90）days.Whenthisoccurs,theIMSSignonscreenisnotimmediatelydisplayedatsignon.Instead,themessagePASSWORDEXPIREDisdisplayedonthemessagelineandyouwillberequiredtoenteranewpasswordonthePasswordChangeScreen.TypeyourUserIDandexpiredpassword,thentypeyournewpasswordtwice.
ExclusiveUseofUserIDs
YourRACFIDandpasswordareassignedtoyoupersonally,andshouldnotbesharedwithanyoneelse.Ifauserleavesyourcompany,theIDwillNOTautomaticallyexpire.YouMUSTcontactFordtohavetheperson'
sIDandsystemaccessterminated.Otherwise,theywillmaintaintheiraccesstoyourcompanydata.Ifthatpersonisyourprimaryuser,youmustalsoindicateareplacementprimaryuser.Fordwillnotautomaticallyassigntheprimarycodetoanotheruseratyourcompany.
