今天我们来看如何描述历史建筑。

历史建筑
首先,告诉大家一个方法:
无论是让你描述你曾经参观过的历史古迹,还是你所在城市的历史古迹,你可以只准备一个话题。
大家看着两个问题:
Describeahistoricalbuildingyouhavebeento.
Describeanimportanthistoricalbuildinginyourcity.
Describeanimportanthistoricalbuildingthatyouknow.
这几个问题其实就是把一个问题换成了不同问法,其他地点类的话题也都是一样的,考生可以用一个答案回答所有问题,以不变应万变。
就像大家都知道的这个下联“一枝红杏出墙来“,它原来是对”春色满园关不住”的,但只要大脑转地快,”一枝红杏出墙来”可以对所有上联!
例如:
月落乌啼霜满天,一枝红杏出墙来。
待的山花烂漫时,一枝红杏出墙来。
关于这个历史古迹的话题,我选的是众所周知的建筑:
长城。

选择描述长城的原因:
第一,这个实在是太出名,老外几乎都知道,所以当考生一说它的名字时,考官的大脑中就会出现长城的画面,这样就算考生描述的不清楚时,也不会令考官感到一头雾水,心想这是哪个建筑呀。
第二,长城这个建筑还可以用来回答:
描述一个不同寻常的建筑。
第三,长城的英文名字“TheGreatWall"实在是太好记了!
简单又生动!
我自己对于岳阳楼,宁波天一阁和泉州东西塔这类历史古迹的英文名字记住后总是会忘记,而且考生说出名字来后外国人不知道的几率很大,这也就增大了考生描述的难度。
第四,在Part2部分描述长城更容易在Part3部分中展开话题讨论。
因为长城所代表的意义和作用太多了,考生可以从它的历史谈到现在,话题不会枯竭。
Part2的话题是历史建筑,所以Part3部分考官就会问考生与古建筑有关的问题,经常会出的问题有:
