There’snothingwrongwithachievementsorbeingproudofthem—it’sanaturalthingtofeelgoodaboutwhatyou’veaccomplished.Butitshouldn’tbetheonlythingthatmotivatesyou.

Doingthingsyoulove,creatingsomethinggreat,beingwithpeopleyoulove,doingthingsthatareexciting.
Ifyourworkissomethingyoulove,somethingthatexcitesyou,that’sgreat.You’rebetteroffthanmost,actually.Butthere’sgottabemore—whatelsegivesyoujoy?

Figureout4-5thingsthattrulymakeyouhappyandexciteyou—atleastoneofthemshouldbeapersonorpersons,andoneoftheothersmustbenon-work-related.Youneedsomebalanceinyourlife.
