Abstract：

Diedesigningisademandingandhardwork．Todesignaseparatedieforeachproductistimeconsumingandexpensivetask．Thispaperpresentsanideaofsetsofstandardreferencedies．itgivesaconceptofflexiblediedesigningusingareferencestandarddiedesignedinapopularcommercialCAD／CAMsoftware—Pro／Engineer．Ratherthandesigningaseparatedieforeachpart，justupdatethediedesignbyselectingthediedimensionsasrequired．Theuseofthisconceptwillprovetoreducetimeandcostofproductinmanufacturingindustry．

Atpresent,theindustrialdevelopedcountriesandregionsinthemoldindustryhasbeengraduallystandardizeandserialization.InChina,althoughthemajoritydiewithintheenterpriseshavebusinessstandards,butgenerallynothighdegreeofstandardization,standardizationofstampingdieinthedie-limitedpartsoftheparts.Toachieverealsavingsstampingdiedesigntimeandshortentheprocessingcycle,costsavings,reducedesignandmanufacturingstaffworkloadpurposes,itneedstodevelopaflexiblestampingdiedesignsystem.Atthesametime,stampingdieserializationofthescopeofstandardizationandcannotbeconfinedtodie-partofthefixedpanels,boards,thetopplateunloadingdevicecommonlyusedcomponentssuchasstampingorevendiestructure,weshouldachieveserializationandstandardization.

AsCAD/CAMtechnologyinthedesignandmanufacturedieinthecourseofextensiveapplication,itshouldfirstbestandardizedstampingdiefromtheCADsystembegan.Somelarge-scalecommercializationoftheCAD/CAMsoftware,suchasPro/E,UG,andsoon.Havedevelopedaspecializedinjectionmolddesignpackage.Andstampingdiedesignforthespecialsoftware,usersneedtobedeveloped.

Pro/EngineerbytheUnitedStateshasdevelopedasetofPTCCAD/cAM/CAEsoftware.Pro/EusingasingledatabaseAndfeature-based,thedesignparametersofthemodel,providesuserswith1Thedevelopmentisveryconvenientforstampingdieflexiblesystemoftoolsjuice

1.1FamilyTable

FanailyFableknownastheFamilyTable,thestructureusedtocreatethesameorsimilarpartsofthesizeandcharacteristicsofthestandardizeddatabasetables,isdevotedtotheestablishmentofastandardpartslibrarytool.Theuseoftheformerfirstfamilytabletocreateagenericrepresentationofthecomponents（thegeneric）,accordingtotheneedtotargetandthenaddedtothefamilytableaseriesofmanagement.

Familysheetmanagementcanbetheobjectofasize（dimension）,features（feature）,parameters（parameter）andassemblyparts（component）,andsoon.

Afamilytablecanhavemultiplelevels,thatisagenericpartscancontainmultiplesub-components（instance,alsoknownasexamples）,andeachInstancecancontaintheirownSubInstance.Dischargescrew（stripper-bolt）thefamilytablestructureasshowninFigure1.
