用来承接上文。

　　二、根据衔接词本身的意思和文章连接所需要的逻辑意义，可分为以下14类。

（一）表示因果关系

　　nowthat（既然）Nowthatyouhavegrownup,youmustearnforyourself.

　　solongas（只要）Youcouldrealizeyourdreamsolongasyoutryitagainandagain.

　　Since（既然）Sinceyouareherenow,you’dbettergiveahand.

　　inthat（因为）Thepolicyisharmfulinthatitmayencouragepeopletogiveup.

　　sothat（为了）Theofficespeaksatthetopofhisvoicesothateverysoldiercouldhearhim.

　　Therefore（所以）Thereisacalculatingmistakethere;

therefore,theansweriswrong.

（二）表示解释关系

　　asamatteroffact（事实上）Iwillgotherethismorning,asamatteroffact,Iamonly10minutes,drivefromyou.

　　aswell（也）Iwillgothere.Myfriendwillgowithmeaswell.

　　franklyspeaking（坦诚地说）Franklyspeaking,Iamnotverysatisfactorywithyourwords.

　　inthiscase（在这种情况下）Inthiscase,Iwillgothereassoonaspossible.

　　（三）表示推理关系

　　orelse（否则，不然）Hurryup,orelseyou’llbelate.

　　Otherwise（否则，不然）Youmustcarrythispassport,otherwiseyouwillbestoppedbytheguard.

　　ifso（如果这样）Ifso,itwillmakeagreatdifference.

　　（四）表示递进关系

　　inaddition（除此之外）Ineedyourhelp.Inaddition,Ialsoneedhersupport.

　　Besides（并且）First,wemustworkhard.Besides,wemustworkwithacreativemind.

　　andmoreover（而且）Thehatistherightsizeforyou,andmoreover,itgoeswellwithyourskin.

　　thatistosay（这就是说）Thestockpriceisdeclining,thatistosay,Iamlosingmoney.

　　inotherwords（换句话说）Iamnothungry,inotherwords,Ireallydislikethefoodinthiscanteen.

　　equallyimportant（同样重要的）
