例：

※短语maybe是may和be动词的组合，意思是“可能是”，要注意与“maybe”的区分。

（2）although的意思是“虽然”、“尽管”，是连词。
和汉语不同的是，它和but－般不在同－个复句里出现。

（此句中出现了although，后面就不需要but。
同理，这个句子可以改成：
Itdidn’tsnow，buthestillfeltcold．）
