differentculture.Asamostgrandthinginpeople’slife,ithasalwaysattractedahighdegreeofattention.Weddingisveryimportanttoone’slife,notonlytothecoupleinvolvedbutalsoforbothfamilies.Weddingisacelebrationinwhichcouplesbegintheirmarriedlife.Duetothe
differentculturalorigins,religions,geographicallocationsandmarriageconceptstherearemanydifferencesexistinginthetwokindsofweddingcustoms.Chinaisacountrywithanancientcivilizationandalonghistory,
Therefore,theChineseweddingiselaborateandwithmanyimplicitmeanings.Itisdeeplyinfluencedbythecomplextraditionalculturesandetiquettes.DifferentfromChinesewedding,inwesterncountries,thewholeweddingisromanticandblessed.ThedifferencesexistinginChineseandwestern

Althoughmanyweddingcustomshaveexperiencedvariouschangesastimegoesby,asthebasicpattern,“sixetiquettes”inChinahasnotchangedmuch.

Inthispaper,theauthorwouldliketomakeacomparativestudyofthetwodifferentkindsofweddingcustomsinChinaandwesterncountries,suchas
illustratingsomeculturaldifferencesbetweensomewesterncountriesandChina,andanalyzingthereasonsforthosedifferencesindeepinside.
II.TheTwoKindsofWeddingCustoms
Eachcountryintheworldhasitsowntraditionalcustomsbecauseof
differencesinculture.Weddingcustomsisoneofthecustomswhich
influencedbyculture.Weddingcustomsalsoisaninterestingtopic.Itattractsmuchcareofyoungpeople.Chinaandwesterncountriesbothhavetheirownweddingcustoms.However,theproceduresofweddingcustomsare
