InLondonEye,thereare32capsules(舱).Eachofthecapsulescanholdupto25people.Andthey’reairconditionedinsummer,heatedinwinter.FromthesecapsulesthevisitorscanseethemostbeautifulviewsofLondon.

Itwasdifficulttoassemble(安装)andputawheelofthissize.Anditrequirednewtechnologyandalotofimagination.ThepartsofLondonEyeweresentuptheThamesRiver,andthewheelwasassembledontemporary(暂时的)platformsontheriver.Liftingitintoanuprightpositionwasamajorchallenge.Ittookaweektowinch(吊)ituptoitsfinalposition.
