Florenceandherteamcleanedthehospitalroomsandbeds.Theymadesurethatthebandageswerecleanandthatthesoldiersgetenoughmedicine.Thearmywasunhappybecausetherewerewomensoclosetothefighting.Theygavethenursesalotoftrouble.Florenceandherteamworkedhard.Consequently,Florencebecamefamousas“TheLadyoftheLamp”.
