AsadvancesinmedicineanddiseasepreventionhaveincreasedlifeexpectancyintheUnitedStates,thebenefitshavedisproportionatelygonetopeoplewitheducation,money,goodjobsandconnections.Theyarealmostinvariablyinthebestpositiontolearnnewinformationearly,modifytheirbehavior,takeadvantageofthelatesttreatmentsandhavethecostcoveredbyinsurance.
