●冠词的定义：
●冠词的分类：
不定冠词a/an，定冠词the
（一）不定冠词的用法：
1表示“某一”如：
AMrSmithiswaitingforyou.
2表示一类人或事物如：
Anelephantisheavierthanahorse.
3表示某人或某物如：
Heworksinaschool.
4表示“一个”如:
Iamateacher.
5用于初次提及的人或物
6用于短语havealook,goforawalk，afew,alotof,haveacold,haveagoodtime
“a，an”是不定冠词，用于单数可数名词之前。
“a”用于辅音音素开头的名词前，“an”用于元音音素开头的名词前，注意这是根据发音而不是根据字母，如aunit，anhour，anumbrella,anuncle,anhonestboy
【注意】1.one,European尽管拼写以元音开头，但是用不定冠词a.
2.以h或u开头的词，用a还是an，取决于音素，与字母无关
不定冠词a,an通常泛指同类事物中的某一个，其中，a用在以辅音音素开头的单词前，
an用在以元音音素开头的单词前

①有些名词虽然词首是元音字母，但发音却以辅音开头，这是名词要用a
例如：

②有些名词虽然词首是辅音字母，但发音却以元音开头，这是名词要用an
例如：
hourhonest
不定冠词用法巧记口诀：
a,an不定冠，单数名前现；辅音用a，an在元音前。
泛指人物类似一，词组有a是习惯，复数不可数，a，an均不见。

（二）定冠词
定冠词the特指某（些）人或某（些）事物。
用于下列情况之前：
1世界上独一无二的事物；sun,moon,sky
Theearthmovesroundthesun.
Akiteisflyinginthesky.
2西洋乐器名词、序数词、形容词最高级；thepiano,theviolin,thefirst,themostbeautiful
3上文提过的，谈话双方都明确所指的人或事物；
Ihaveabook.Thebookisveryinteresting.
4江河、山脉等地理名词；TheChangjiangRiver,TheHuangMountain
5姓氏复数形式（表示一家人）；theSmiths
6用在形容词前面，表示某一类人或物
Therich富人thepoor穷人theyoung年轻人thenew新的事物
6普通名词构成的专有名词；theGreatWall,theUnitedKingdom
7特指某人TheboyinblackisTom./Thebookonthedeskishis.
8习惯用语和固定搭配中inthemorning,ontheleft,intheend,thedayaftertomorrow
使用定冠词口诀：
特指都熟悉，上文有提及，世上是独一，序数最高级，名构专有词，习语及乐器；
沙漠河流与群山，岛屿海峡与海湾，阶段党派国家名，组织团体和机关，会议文件及报刊，方位朝代要戴冠。
（三）不用定冠词（零冠词）的情况
1在国名、城市、地名、人名等专有名词前;Canada,Beijing,Leifeng
2在月份、季节、星期前等；
Sunday,March,summer,winter
3在不可数名词前（即物质名词和抽象名词前）；
（1）Thedeskismadeofwood.桌子是木头制造的。
（wood是物质名词）
（2）It’sdifficulttofindwork.找到工作很难。
（work是抽象名词）
4复数泛指一类人或物或并列的两个名词前；
Horsesareusefulanimals.马是有用的动物。
Mymotherandfatherareschoolteachers.我爸爸和妈妈是学校老师。
5表示三餐、球类运动、游戏等名词前；
Breakfast,lunch,supper,playfootball,playchess
注意：
如果这些词前有形容词修饰时可用不定冠词。
Ihadagoodlunchyesterday.
Ihavebreakfastat7:
ooeveryday.
6在称呼语或官职、头衔等名词前；
SheischairmanoftheStudents’sUnion.她是学生会主席。
7阳历节日名称前不用加冠词。
NewYear’sDay,Women’sDay,LabourDay,ThanksgivingDay,ChristmasDay.
8名词前已经有this,that,his,my,any等限定词时
