Whathascausedsuchanincrease?

First,computersarenowwidelyusedinoursociety,especiallyinuniversities.Nowadays,computersareusedtowrite,read,calculateandevenplaygames.Secondly,withinashortspaceoftime,computershavebecomemuchcheaper.Intheearly90s,a286wouldcostover35,000RMB.Now,youcanbuyaPentiumIVforonlyseveralthousandyuan.

Itiscertainlyagoodphenomenonthatmorestudentsaremakinguseofcomputersintheirstudies.However,therearestillsomeproblemsthatshouldconcernus.First,manystudentsusecomputersonlytoplaygamesorchatontheInternet.Spendinglonghourssittingatthecomputerisbadforone'shealthandcanalsoaffectsone'sstudy.Second,studentsmaybecometoodependentoncomputersandforgettolearnbasicskills.Whenaskedtowritecompositionsduringatest,somestudentscomplainthattheycannotconcentrateiftheyarenotfacingacomputerandtypingtheircompositionsout.

Fakecommoditiesareextremelyharmfultocustomersaswellastosocietygenerally.Forinstance,somepeopledreamingofbecomingrichovernightmadefakemedicines,whichresultedinthelossofmanylives,causinggreatsufferingtovictims.Theincidenthadaterribleinfluenceonthecustomers.Thefearoffakecommoditiesisplungingpeopleintoworry,confusionandpanic;theyhavenosenseofsafety.Peopleevendarenotbuygenuineproductsofcarryingthegenuinebrand.Thishascausedagreatlosstotheproductionandsalesofgenuineproducts.

Theharmfuleffectsofadvertisingareobvious.WhenyouareenjoyingverybeautifulmusiconTV,acommercialsuddenlydisturbsyou.Youareforcedtowatchtheadvertisementunlessyouchangethechannelorleavetheroom.Furthermore,someadvertisementsarefilledwithflowerywordsandemptypromises,andpeopleareeasilymisledandcheated.
