Themachinewillthenmovetoposition15andgotocameraviewandfocusonthealignmenthole.

d.Press“Setcamerapositionoflasttoolposition”.

Note:

Machinewillthengotoeachindividualtoolpositionandreadinthealignmenthole.

e.Repeatthecameraalignmentthatwasperformedforthefirstalignmenthole.

f.Pressthe“SaveandClose”button.

6.Verifytoolbaralignment

a.Loadtoolsintoeachtoolposition.

b.GototheMachiningmenuandselectservice.

c.PresstheMachineSetupDialoguebutton.

d.

Pressthe“CheckToolHolderPositions”(Step6)button.

e.Pressthe“Execute”button.

Note:

Machinewillthempickupthetoolsineachtoolpositions.

f.Afteronecompletecycleiscomplete,pressthestopbutton.

Note:

LPKFrecommendsthatyoucompletethiscyclethree(3)times.

g.Closethewindow.

7.CalibrateDepthSettingRamp

a.Loadmillingbitsintotoolbar.

i.Gotothetoolboxdialogue.

ii.Loada0.1mmMicroCutterintoposition1,a0.2mmuniversalcutterintoposition2anda1.0mmendmillintoposition3.

Note:

Toolsmustbebrandnew.

iii.Pressok.

b.GototheMachiningmenuandselectservice.

c.Pressthesetupmachinedialoguebutton.

d.

Pressthe“TeachMillingWidthAdjuster”(Step7)button.

e.Press“TeachMicrocutter”

Note:

Machinewillthenpickupthemicrocutterfromposition1andsetthedepthatposition55onthetoolramp.Afterwards,themachinewillmillalineandfocusonthelinethroughthecameraandmeasurethewidth.

f.Ifalinewasmilled,presstheacceptbutton.

g.Ifalinewasnotmilled,pressthenolinewasmilledbutton.

Note:

Ifyoupressedtheacceptbutton,themachinewillreturnthetooltothetoolbarandpickitbackupandmillasecondline.

h.Repeatuntilthemachinehasestablishedthemillingdepthfortheupperandlowerlimitsofthetool.

i.Press“yes”ontheverificationscreen.

j.

Press“TeachUniversalCutter”

k.ThiswillrepeatthesameprocessastheMicrocutter.

l.Press“TeachEndMill”

Note:

Machinewillthenputtheuniversalcutterawayandpickupthe1.0mmendmill.Afterwards,itwillmill3linesinarowandmovetothepauseposition.

Note:

Thereisnomeasuringofthemillingwidththatwaspreviouslyusedwiththemicrocutteranduniversalcutter.Anerrorisexpectedfora“cylindricaltool.”

m.Measurethedepthofthemillingwithasetofcalipers.

n.Placethemeasureddistanceintothemicrometerfieldandpress“useenteredvalue”.

Note:

Machinewillthenplacethetoolbackintothetoolbar,pickitupandmovetoanotherspotonthecalibrationrampandmillanothersetofthreelines.

o.Repeatuntiltheentirerangeoftheboardthicknesshasbeencompleted.

p.Pressthewritetomachine(Step14)button.
